Erin + Todd on Southern Weddings

When I was checking out my Google Reader this morning, I saw this!

Southern Wedding of the Week: Erin + Todd, Part I and this Southern Wedding of the Week: Erin + Todd, Part II.

I love the Southern Weddings blog so much and I am so looking forward to picking up a copy of their magazine. The girls at Southern Wedding and Bliss Event Group are so talented and bring daily inspiration to so many readers every day. I’m so honored to have had our wedding featured and that Kelly Moore Photography has gotten more exposure!

halloween dining table {part 2}

My friend, Cyndi, at Southern Daze was kind enough to forward me some photos of her very own Halloween dinner party from last year. She was actually inspired by the same photos from Hostess With the Mostess that inspired me.

I have to say that Cyndi’s table is fabulous! She used adorable scrapbook paper for the place mats and I actually like her placemat choice better than the inspiration photo placemats. Thanks for sharing these with me, Cyndi!

Aren’t the polka dot placemats so cute with the polka dot wine glasses? And can you believe that she took this picture herself? The colors and the quality are perfect. I would bet that this photos inspires many more Halloween-themed dinners!

hardly mellow yellow

How gorgeous was Cindy McCain’s perfect Oscar de la Renta mustard yellow number that she wore on Tuesday night? I’ve been scouring Google Images for three days looking for a decent picture and I finally found one. I’m not going to say how much her ensemble cost, but I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that Oscar just let her have it for the publicity. Sweet Laura is also wearing Oscar de la Renta.

Cindy’s hair was also looking impeccable. Her bangs are perfectly placed and her chignon was quite tasteful. Does the White House need a Fashion Secretary? I think Cindy’s got the job.

halloween dining room

I’ve been thinking about how I’d like to do the tablescape for our dining room table for Halloween. We’re going to have our house full of friends that weekend for a football game and I want to have a big dinner.
I found some great ideas at Hostess With the Mostess (the first three images) and Pottery Barn (the last two images).

I want these black feather wreaths for the French doors that lead to our dining room.
