I’ve been thinking about how I’d like to do the tablescape for our dining room table for Halloween. We’re going to have our house full of friends that weekend for a football game and I want to have a big dinner.
I found some great ideas at Hostess With the Mostess (the first three images) and Pottery Barn (the last two images).

I want these black feather wreaths for the French doors that lead to our dining room.
Love the first three just as much as the last two! Hard decision to make!
I love some of the PB decor for Halloween! I want the monogrammed candy basket on PBKids
Love those feather wreaths!
I wish I had friends here who would get something like a tablescape at a dinner party…unfortunately they would think I was nuts! 🙂
i love all of them!
i thought about you today bc I ran in to Bath and Body Works and they have a new line of fall and halloween candles out. The fall candle smells great and guess what the candle is decorated in? ACORNS. You need that 🙂
You can make those wreaths, you know!
Mom
love the wreaths!
The ones by HWTM were my inspiration for an October dinner party last year. I loved the idea about using scrapbooking paper as placemats! I just sent you an email with the links, in case you’re interested.
This year I seem to be really drawn to the Pottery Barn images. Guess I need to get a dinner party planned so I can use them as this year’s inspiration!

I just saw the comment your mom posted and I swear, it is EXACTLY the comment my mom would leave for me! As a matter of fact, she has!! Apparently we’re not the only ones with similarities…

They have lots of cool stuff at Michael’s already for Halloween. I bought some cool stuff just yesterday to make a Halloween wreath for my front door and of course Martha’s stuff!
Cute idea! If I were crafty at all – in the Michael's sense, as opposed to the diabolical one – I would love to do something like this, but I will just say these table settings look adorable to me.
I did recently see & purchase some very similar table mats to those polka-dot ones at Target; I wonder if they might still have them . . .
