halloween dining table {part 2}

My friend, Cyndi, at Southern Daze was kind enough to forward me some photos of her very own Halloween dinner party from last year. She was actually inspired by the same photos from Hostess With the Mostess that inspired me.

I have to say that Cyndi’s table is fabulous! She used adorable scrapbook paper for the place mats and I actually like her placemat choice better than the inspiration photo placemats. Thanks for sharing these with me, Cyndi!

Aren’t the polka dot placemats so cute with the polka dot wine glasses? And can you believe that she took this picture herself? The colors and the quality are perfect. I would bet that this photos inspires many more Halloween-themed dinners!

    the polka dot placemats are great! you could laminate them too and use them more than once…i saw a cute pattern for a cloth placemat and would love to try some for the fall, but my time is not permitting sewing right now! thanks for this inspiration…great two posts.

    Ummm….do you think it would be bad just to set your table like this and leave it for the entire month of October even if you werent having a dinner party? 🙂

    I feel so honored that you put this picture on your blog! Thank you for your (and your reader’s) sweet words. It really does mean a lot to me!

    As for the comment about setting the table even though there’s no dinner party scheduled, I say “go for it!” Besides, who needs to know you don’t have a dinner party scheduled?

    How beautiful a table setting! I didnt know people actually DID that sort of stuff – I wish I had it in me because it looks gorgeous! And I LOVE the idea of using scrapbooking paper for place settings – how cool a thought!

    Hi there! I was lucky enough to be a guest at this dinner party at Cyndi’s house! Her table was adorable, as it has been for all of the parties I ever attended there. The candy corn in the vases with votives inside were awesome and she also made these super sweet candy corn cookies that had been dipped in white, orange and brown chocolate. I think my favorite thing about this particular party though was the Henry Bain sauce!!!! Cyndi and her husband are great cooks too!

    I love this table. I’ve been looking for some inspiration for my own table this year, so thanks for posting! Love, love, love polka dots – I swear they could work for any and all holidays! In fact, sounds like a great idea for a post! 🙂
