Celebrating Easter with my family is one of my favorite days all year. I love the touch of warmth in the air and the feeling of new life all around us.Hosting Easter lunch after church is a big tradition for our family. Todd and his Dad hide Easter eggs while the his Mom and I put the finishing touches on the food. Then we watch the boys go on their Easter egg hunt. And afterward, we come in and sit down for a delicious lunch.
I love the excuse to create a tablescape and a holiday is the perfect excuse! I’ve got a house full of family, delicious food, and I want my table to reflect how excited I am about the celebration.
Over the years, I have collected a few different Easter decorations. I have these fun pastel eggs that I always use on the table. This year I found the adorable hydrangea bunnies and wanted to add those to the table. I like to run out to the craft store to find some spring-colored ribbon to add to whatever glass containers I’m using.
And I love that I can just run to the grocery store to find beautiful, fresh flowers. The pink tulips are absolutely beautiful and are the perfect pop on my table!
I picked up these fun multi-colored gingham napkins at the store for such a low price and knew that they would be the perfect way to dress up my table while still keeping it fresh and approachable.
I love the perfectly coordianted line of Chinet® Cut Crystal® premium disposable tableware. The matching plates, cups, and cutlery are convenient to use and disposable, but they are beautiful! The line is stylish and the crystal clear design features a unique swirl pattern to complement any table setting.
I love that the Chinet® Cut Crystal® tableware keeps my table looking fresh and beautiful, but that I don’t have to deal with hand-washing dishes when we’ve finished our meal. I want the freedom to play outside with my kids and look through their Easter baskets.
I put together a Pinterest board for some inspiration in putting together a perfectly coordinated spring party. The Chinet® Perfectly Coordinated Pinterest board has tons of great ideas! The clear plates are a beautiful blank canvas and easily coordinate with my decor. It also perfectly coordinates and complements everything on the menu.

I love your table. I am definitely borrowing the idea of the ribbon around the glass containers.
I have children’s tablecloths from PB for the 3 big holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. I use fresh flowers also to make everything feel fresh. Tulips are my favorite to use, too.
Thanks for the giveaway!
This is a great post! I enjoy seeing your decorations! And I have already decorated for Easter! I have a hydrangea bunny too. I wish I could find more! Where did you find yours?
I love your table! Thanks for the ideas. I think fresh flowers are a must for a put together look!
I love having a pretty wreath (or other door ornament) and tying it into my table centerpiece. Lots of times, the ribbon on the door will match the ribbons aroudn my napkins and flower vases. Great giveaway. These are the perfect way to spend Easter with family rather than cleaning dishes!!!
Your table is beautiful and fun! For the first time in years, the WHOLE family will be in town for Easter, and it will probably be the last holiday in mom and dad’s current house, before a big move. I can’t wait to pull the beautiful ideas from your tablescape and the yummy recipes from Every Day Cheer all together for a fun Eater celebration. Mom and Dad have a beautiful backyard, and the hubbies love to hide eggs while we get lunch finished up. I can’t wait to have the entire family together!
Wait. Is that for real your chandelier? Off to die of jealousy…..
Love fresh flowers and I’m definitely want to go chinet this year! I always worried with paper plates they’d be too flimsy, but I have too many people coming to use real dishes this year! Thanks so much for the reminder!
Love your Easter table! You are so talented! I pinned a couple of your pics.
I love fresh flowers and ribbon, colorful place mants & napkins. I love that the Chinet is clear so the place mats shine! I love that they are disposable for quick and easy parties!! And affordable!!
Love your table setting. I love that the chinet dishes are clear so your place mats shine thru. Love to use pretty place mats & napkins. I love that the Chinet dishes are affordable and throw away for quick clean up.
Your table is beautiful! I like to use a pretty neutral base (the same white plates and green cloth napkins) and then get fresh flowers and other accents to reflect the season or celebration. Your tulips are beautiful! For Easter I love tulips or hydrangeas. You are definitely putting me in the mood for Easter lunch!
Love your Easter tablescape! I don’t know that my occasions are perfectly coordinated (ever) but I do love to have people in my home…any excuse to have a party right? I’m actually having some girl friends over this weekend. One of my very best friends is getting married in a few weeks. We are going out to dinner and then everyone is coming back to my house for dessert, drinks and lingerie. I plan for my tablescape to be fun and girly. It helps me to pick a color scheme and then see what I have already on hand. From there I’ll pick up things as I need them and I always try to buy pieces that I can use again for another event/party. Adding ribbon, flowers, or some other kind of decoration can always change up a design.
I am a minimalist and love neutrals. I try and keep things pretty simple- burlap table runner, all white dishware and then add in a pop of color with my flower arangements, centerpieces or napkins. It’s easy to swap those things out for seasons or holidays

With no family in town, we don’t always get the chance to celebrate the “big” occasions at our house. Easter will be quiet for us this year, but we’ll still do something fun for the boys. My best tip for a coordinated table is to make sure that when you register for dishes, you get white ones! Then you can just add festive salad plates, napkins, or other table accessories to make the white plates seasonally appropriate. It’s worked well for us!
I love the clear table accessories. I think fresh flowers keep things pretty and classy.
Where did your dining room table from?
Where did your dining room table come from?
I love the clear plates – what a great idea to show off the colors of everything else AND you can really get clean up over and done with! I love coordinating with themes – especially colorful, pastel ones. Must be why Easter is my favorite. 🙂
Is this a joke? Are you really serving your Easter lunch on plastic plates?
I like to use hurricanes with seasonally appropriate filler, festive table runners/napkins, and colorful flower arrangements.!
I’m with you- I pick stuff that I already have like glass containers then just update it for the occasion/color scheme with ribbon and then gorgeous flowers. Love the table!!
Cute table! I like to add pops of color and I have my young girls help me. That always make things a little more special!
So cute! Love the tulips!

The table is beautiful!! And that makes clean up so easy. Win win!
I love how your table is decorated!! The colors look so bright and cheerful. Love the Chinet – makes for an easy cleanup!
Erin,
I am really surprised to see the sponsored chinet post. The plates look like they come from the dollar store.
Why on earth would you not use the beautiful Juliska dinnerware you have? I dont mind sponsored posts per se, but this offended me.
I like to include a table runner and fresh flowers.

Love how you decorated your Easter table! For those commenting on why plastic dinnerware sometimes its just not feasable to use real plates. These look better than white paperplates and red plastic cups. I come from a family of twelve factor in spouses and kids and that number quickly multiplies. So yes we always use Plastic plates/cups for our holidays.
I usually go to a craft store and get little touches of color in the party’s theme. You don’t have to completely cover everything with your party’s colors, but little touches here and there look just as lovely.
I like how you used clear plates — that really lets the other coordinating features pop.
when you have to serve large groups of people it’s great to have a good looking option other than the traditional red/blue solo cup and paper plate, the clear plates are that good looking option! They really will coordinate with anything else you have on hand.
I am horrible at coordinating my table for special occasions and look to blogs like yours for inspiration! Love your table!
I try to choose a limited color palette or theme and then let my creativity go wild!
I go on Pinterest to get ideas and I like to color coordinate everything.
I usually do a fun themed dessert table!
The table looks lovely but let’s be honest…. It’s the Chandy ( and rug!!!) that steal the show! 🙂 gorgeous!!!!! Can’t wait for your home tour 🙂

I buy solid colored napkins and other party supplies so I can use them for any occasion. Birthdays, showers, easter parties. The trick is not to be too focused on a particular event. Then the leftover items can be used for another time.
fresh flowers always bring a table alive. i love your use of ribbon around a vase/jar.
Family is about the only thing that coordinates my table! I rarely have anything put together as cute as what you’ve done, but I love it!
I think of a theme a head of time and then plan from there with some key pieces that really make it all fit together! Oh, and pinterest helps!

I make our occasions perfectly coordinated by choosing a theme, choosing colors in the theme and sticking with those for everything, including center pieces. If it’s a holiday and I don’t want to be traditional I come up with idea, then stick with three basic colors.
This is adorable – I coordinate by picking a theme, and trying to match my plate colors to the decor!

I actually do not strive for coordination when entertaining, when it comes to setting the table; I like mismatched napkins, bowls, plates, goblets, etc., if find it more interesting to look at. I do like coordination when trying to get the food on the table at the same time so everyone can eat at the same time at the table.

Choose a theme and colors first. I usually choose 3 colors, 2 are predominant and one is for accent. Then look around for all the items you have in these colors so you don’t have to buy much. The same thing goes for theme. If you choose a floral theme, go thru your house and yard looking for things you already have that express that theme to put on your table. For a kid’s theme, try teddy bears or dolls, action figures, favorite movie and look for all the items you already have that express that theme and use them for decoration. Don’t buy anything till you know what you already have and what your theme and colors are going to be.
I pick a color theme and have it coordinate with everything.
