reads for your weekend

Happy Saturday, y’all!

We are beach-bound today. Our car is full. Our bags are packed. Our expectations are high and I am prepared to just go with the flow and soak up every second of fun with my family.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been able to post some of my favorite blog posts that I’ve read recently. I’ve got a fun list of things for you to read this weekend! This is always one of my favorite things to post each week because I know that I love finding new (to me) blogs to read, and I hope you do, too!

Fifty Two Shades of Shay: What I wear/read/take on a trip from Shay at The Shull Family

Shay is the queen of travel and her travel tips never ever disappoint. In this post, she shares the way she packs for vacations, what she reads on vacation, and other fun tips on how to pack and how to travel. I just love her tips and I know that Shay and I would travel well together!

Good Idea: Balloon Party Cooler from Adventures in Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone

Well if this isn’t just the cutest idea of the year, I don’t know what is. I’m dying over the cuteness. So now you have to go check it out!

By God’s Grace from When in Doubt, Add More Salt

My sweet college friend, Jenn, wrote this beautiful, honest post about finding herself in a balance rut. All moms should read this.

You’re More Important Than You Know from Holley Gerth

Oh, this post spoke right to my heart. I loved every single word so much. I love how Holley talks about the beauty in the quiet and how God calls us to live a quiet life. And we are important, even though we may feel insignificant in our daily roles.

A Moment of Grace from The Tichenor Family

Meredith wrote such an honest post about her struggles with potty training, and her struggles with having patience. And I know that patience is something that so many of us lack, myself included. I just loved her honesty and the sweet story she tells of the love for her precious son.
