Yay for Five on Friday! Today’s list is pretty random, but there are som fun thins that I wanted to share! I’m linking up with Darci and friends today. You should do it, too!

With football season starting back up this month, a few of my five items are all about football!

-ONE-

About a year ago, I was introduced to the super adorable line of boys’ collegiate apparel called JV Clothiers. We are big time Gamecock fans in our house and Hudson and Hayes need their own cute, preppy version of Gamecock gear. And it is SO hard to find cute things for them to wear besides a seriously oversized jersey.

Isn’t that just the cutest? And one of the owners of JV Clothiers is a sorority sister of mine from Louisiana Tech! (AXO) They have so many great schools represented and are always adding more each season. You can shop online or find a retailer near you.

This really doesn’t need any words, right? Love it.

-THREE-

Okay, this is old. But we can’t think of football season without thinking about little 19 month old Hudson and “interviewing” him one night after the BCS national championship game.

-FOUR-

We are bound for Orange Beach, Alabama tomorrow! We are all so excited. But Hudson is the most excited! It’s our last little hoo-rah for the summer. It’s one more week to intentionally leave the worries behind. Drop the to-do lists at the door. And quit worrying about nonsense. And just let go and be carefree for the week!

-FIVE-

I decided to join Lara Casey’s #intentionalAugust project this month, and I ordered Lara Casey’s Power Sheets. The past year has been an interesting one for our family. We’ve had so many changes and everything has always felt temporary. And even though we are building a house, it’s not finished yet. And our “temporary” isn’t so temporary anymore. But I have to buckle down, get organized, get settled, and get busy! I’ve felt disorganized and just like I’m floating along in “temporary” for so long. I’m excited about an #intentionalAugust.

We LOVE Orange Beach/Gulf Shores!!! We’ve been vacationing there for the past 6 or 7 years and it has become our second home! In fact, this year we were able to spend 2 weeks there. Beautiful, beautiful area. Have a great trip!!

Oh my gosh that little boy makes me want to have another just to dress him in that! Adorable! Second, where do ya’ll stay in OB? We have a place off canal rd, at Perdido Key, and love it! Have ya’ll taken the kids to Flippers? Its decent food but most of all the outside patio is fun! Have a great vacay!

CANNOT wait to hear what you think about the Power Sheets…I have been thinking about ordering a set as well!! And P.S. I agree about the football-we are all friendly until football season rolls around and then the rivalries come out and we have to stay close to those who cheer for “our team” 😉

Yall will have a fantastic time at the beach!!

The kids college gear is so cute. This year we are finally going to start getting into football as well. We are a baseball house, but are ready to expand our “sports lineup”.

Love that little Hud Bud. Can’t believe how big he’s getting! I need to text you about these power sheets. This may be exactly what I need to combat the crazy lazy Rachel that’s hung around all summer. XO

ERIN!!!! That video!! Me and both of my boys just watched it over here and were dying. Sweet little Hudson…….ahhhhh, that kills me!!!!!!

And yes, I’m right there with ya – so ready for football season! And a little bummed that the adorable store you shared doesn’t make Texas Tech gear! Sad day because those shirts are precious!

I hope you guys have an absolutely wonderful beach vacation!! Can’t wait to see pictures! I’ll close my eyes and live vicariously through you! Safe travels, dear and have so much fun!!

    Erin,

I live just a couple hours from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and love it. (Although we usually go just a little farther and go to Navarre/Okaloosa Island!) But my suggestion is to go eat at The Gulf. It was featured in Southern Living not long ago and it is amazing. The food is great but the atmosphere is something you cannot beat. It is so family friendly and fun! Y’all should definitely check it out.

And on the football front…Roll Tide =)

Those power sheets look awesome! Will you blog about it and tell us more and what you think of it? I’m always interested in hearing how things like that go!

Erin, I’ve been following your blog for a while but I’ve never commented until now. Had no idea you were an Alpha Chi at La Tech! My mom and aunt were both AXO’s there too and have some great memories and stories they’ve shared with me all growing up, hope you loved it as much as they did! 🙂 I’ll have to check out that store, those clothes look just precious! 🙂

OH, what a sweet video! I wanted to tell you that I also ordered the Power Sheets last week, and just got them when I arrived home from vacation. I listened to the webinar from our balcony overlooking the beach and it was a perfect way to start DOING what matters most. Keep us updated on your progress!
