I am sitting at the airport in Columbia writing this right now. I finished teaching VBS this week. It was such an incredible week, and I had the best group of rising kindergarteners. But this weekend, I am going to see Nina! Nina and I became friends through blogging over five years ago, and her friendship means the world to me. I’m so excited about a low key, fun girls weekend with her!
-TWO-
I just finished Fly Away by Kristin Hannah last night. It’s the sequel to Firefly Lane, which I absolutely loved. Fly Away has been really good, but also really sad. Not the uplifting summer read I’d like, but I couldn’t put it down, so that was a good thing.
-THREE-
There is nothing on TV this summer, and every day I can’t wait until Friends comes on TV Land. I know, it probably still comes on TBS at least once a day. And I could also easily just watch it on DVD. But I love watching it in prime time with Todd. It’s one of my top 5 all time favorite shows, and while it makes me feel a little old to think that one of my favorite shows is on TVLand, that’s okay because I just get to watch it more often. Love it!

My bright, shiny, new Life Planner arrived last week. I think production may be taking a little longer due to the high demand, but I didn’t mind at all that it took mine a few extra days to arrive because it was so pretty when it got here!
I chose the pink and gold Gold Edition because pink and gold is my favorite color combination. I love pink and gold… they were my wedding colors.
Anyway, I love the new changes to the Life Planner this year and I am so excited that my old one expires in just 31 days. (The verdict is still out on the new Erin Condren pens, but I’ll be sure to give you a review when I’ve used them for a little bit. It will be hard to top my favorite Paper Mate flairs.)

Google Reader is going away this weekend, and I would absolutely love it if you all would follow my blog on Bloglovin so we don’t lose touch. I am really going to miss Google Reader. Google Reader is like my version of The New York Times. Yes, I know this is very sad. But let’s stay in touch and follow my blog with Bloglovin. Pretty please.
So how about you? Did you order a new Life Planner? Can you give me some great summer book suggestions? (I’m thinking of reading Defending Jacob.) Are you loving Friends on TVLand?

I’m soooo tempted by the Life Planner, but I also love the convenience of having everything in my iPhone. Decisions, decisions.
I love watching Friends reruns. They are usually my end of the night staple as well. I have plenty of book suggestions if you are looking for something that is at a reading level for Kindergarten to 5th grade. That’s my reading list right now. It will expand to grade 12 before summer is over. I read a lot of young adult books even if I’m not reading them for school.
I looove Friends! It is, hands down, my favorite tv show of all time! The One Where Ross Got High is hilarious!
Your planner is gorgeous! I love the pink and gold combination, it is stunning! I haven’t ordered mine yet, as I am still torn between which one I want. I am super excited to order one!

I’ve read two wonderful books this summer…Home Front (also by Kristin Hannah) and Where We Belong (by Emily Giffin)! Loved them both!
Visiting from the link up….FRIENDS is also hands-down my favorite TV show! I still laugh at EVERY single episode almost 10 years since it ended. It’s also on Nick at Nite too!
And love the EC life planner! They’re expensive but so worth the money. I might want to order mine soon…love the new color combos!
I’ve been crazy obsessed with Friends lately. Soo strange! Love that planner! I’ve been debating about whether to finally pick out and EC planner or not… I’m so indecisive! I do think it’s time that I try it out, though. 🙂

I’m still waiting on my Life Planner to arrive…I didn’t buy the pens this year. I just love my paper mate flair pens too 🙂
Friends is my go to “Happy Place” show. When life gets me down I turn it on to tune out for a bit and always get a good laugh. It reminds me of being in high school when life was so carefree and living with my family 🙂

This might get me booted from your site…but I never really got into Friends. I seriously wish that I liked it because so many people love it so much, but it never really did it for me. But I do feel like I’ve missed out on a major piece of pop culture! I’m not sure WHAT I was watching when it was on….

oh how i love a friends rerun no matter how many times i’ve seen it. i just finished the sequel to “the devil wears prada” and it makes a great pool read. i also recently finished “the kitchen house” which is a must read so good. hope y’all have a great weekend!
I LOVE Friends!!! I can still remember crying hysterically when it ended. To me, it’s like Frasier (another fave of mine), it just never gets old! Hope you have a fun girls weekend! Oh my, I did NOT like Fly Away! I loved Firefly Lane (on the recommendation from my friend) but I really struggled with Fly Away (at least until the half-way mark).
I love Friends too–too bad I don’t get much TV time these days. 🙂 I’m currently watching Once Upon a Time on Netflix, slowly but surely.

Friends is probably my all-time favorite show. I have all 10 seasons and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched them because I’d be embarrassed! I ordered my new EC Life Planner last week and can’t wait for it to get here!
my weight watchers leader loved my EC planner so much she is going to order one. i used mine to track points and to tote all my ww supplies – she saw it when i weighed in and loved it!. i wasn’t in love with the EC pens. i didn’t end up using them and let them know. i’ll have to try the paper mate flairs. my planner doesn’t expire until the end of the year, but i’d better order one soon. there is usually too much going on at that time – what with the holidays and christmas cards and such….
I will have to check out Fly Away; I really liked Firefly Lane. I have Defending Jacob on my Kindle so that may be my next book. Others that I’ve read recently and liked were The Fault in Our Stars (it will rip your heart out), Moloka’i, Where’d You Go, Bernadette and the Art of Racing in the Rain. Elin Hilderbrand writes good, easy books that I love to read in the summer.
