giving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

We are so thankful this year for the blessings in our lives. But, mostly this year, we’re thankful for God’s perfect provision. We know that His hand is all over our lives and that makes it so much easier as we sort through the unknown.

I’m thankful for my loving husband, my sweet children, my supportive parents and in-laws, and our many friends that add so much love and encouragement to our lives.

We’re leaving early tomorrow morning to head back home, and this week away has renewed my spirit, and made me really excited for the Christmas holiday season.

This week in Beaver Creek has been so much fun.

We have spent most of the week doing a whole lot of nothing. We watched movies, we cooked, we did a little bit of shopping, and went to a few movies.

We fixed Thanksgiving dinner yesterday so we could eat all of our leftovers before we left town. I think it was a good decision!

We went sledding again today and had the most fun time.

We didn’t take Hudson skiing this year, but we’re already talking about coming back next year and getting him in ski school when he’s 4 years old. He told us he was ready! We’ll see.

Erin – I just had to comment-we were in Vail also for thanksgiving (you had responded to my inquiry on a beverage dispenser long ago). We skied at Lionshead through the week and had our 4 kids in ski school – we may try Beaver Creek next year – so beautiful – and we had so much fun – kids (mine are 3,4, 7 and 9) had a blast at ski school – highly recommend. Happy Thanksgiving!

My due date was June 8th, my water broke June 2nd, and Landon was born on June 3rd. He was 9lbs 10oz, so I’m very glad he came a little bit early! 🙂
