I haven’t blogged in a few days. I realize that for someone who typically blogs nearly every day, this may seem strange. But things are just fine. I got a few texts from friends today asking if everything was okay with me, and yes, everything is great.
I’m tired and I’m busy, but I’m good. We had a bit of a crazy weekend. We had out of town visitors and hosted a baby shower at our house, so it was a really fun weekend!
I did happen to look at the date today and something stood out to me about September 25. So I went and looked at my blog archives and realized that I started blogging on September 25, 2007. Five years of blogging!
Last year on my “blogiversary” I did a quick recap and catch up post. So if you are new here you can catch up there.
But on my blogging anniversary, I did want to pop in to say a quick hello and a huge thank you to all of you who read every day and encourage me so much with your honest thoughts and helpful comments and emails. I truly appreciate you! Thank you so much for making this so much fun.
In the mean time, I’m just hanging out with my sweet family. Life is really busy right now, so all I want to do is hang out with my fellas. Who knows how much longer I’ll keep it up with the blog, but sometimes a little break is needed. I’m still trying to get as much quiet in my daily life as possible.
But a big, huge thank you (or “Danks” as Hayes says) for reading for all these years!

Hey Jenny! I had a ticket to go! 🙁 I just couldn’t make it work. I couldn’t find anyone to keep Hudson and Hayes on Friday afternoon and then would have had to drive back on Saturday night to see our friends and host the shower. I just couldn’t make it work. I wish I could have met you!
