It’s interesting how babies can be so different. With Hudson, I finally got things “figured out” in the baby department, so I decided we were ready to try again for a second child. I knew what I was doing so I was ready.
And then sweet Hayes came along and rocked our world again. In an amazing way.
It was like being a new mom all over again. Babies just keep us on our toes. Their differences are a nice little reminder that they know what they need and what they want, and we need to start figuring it out.
Hayes has come with some fun little challenges we didn’t experience with Hudson. He rarely cries, but when he does–it’s over. He gets worked up so quickly and needs immediate comfort.
He is content to just lie in one spot while he sleeps, so now we’re going through doc band treatment to correct his head shape, and he experienced ear infections at a much earlier age than Hudson did. So we got tubes for Hayes at a much earlier age than Hudson got them.
But getting the opportunity to “learn” a new baby is one of my favorite things about motherhood. I get to figure out what makes him laugh. I know where his tickle spots are. I know when he’s going to be more sensitive, and I know what makes him cry that “hurry up and pick me up mom” cry. No one else knows those things about my baby.
I have had so many great special moments with Hayes. He’s my mini-me. And there is nothing like the very first moment when your baby smiles at you. If it’s your first baby or your fifth baby, that first smile is absolutely priceless.
My favorite moment with him, though, was when he tried grilled cheese for the first time. It was just a couple of weeks ago. He is absolutely in love with grilled cheese. He screamed with delight after every tiny little bite. He was practically begging for more. And I just laughed along with him. And I thought, “What a wonderful thing to get to taste grilled cheese for the first time!”
One of the ways that Hayes has been so different from Hudson is with teething. Hudson was a silent teether. He gave us absolutely no sign he was teething; we’d just come in to get him in the morning and we’d see a new tooth.
I had no clue teething was so awful!
Sweet little Hayes is a bear when he’s teething! He drools buckets all over his outfits every day. We have been known to go through three outfits per day just because of the drool. He starts showing signs of teething- drool, dirty diapers, fussiness- and then three months later he gets a tooth. It’s a process!
We had been losing sleep because of teething, too. He was waking up in the night and just crying out. I knew it had to be his teeth. When I got the opportunity to review Baby Orajel® Natural Teething Tablets I was so excited! This couldn’t have come at a better time.
I was excited to find out Baby Orajel Naturals Teething Tablets are belladonna-free, benzocaine-free, dye-free, alcohol-free and paraben-free. Baby Orajel Naturals Teething Tablets is the first and only homeopathic offering from the #1 teething brand, Baby Orajel.
We gave him three little tablets right before bed time the first night, and they dissolved in about ten seconds. And Hayes looked like he was getting to try some candy! He loved them!
And that night? He slept and slept and slept. It was the first night in two weeks he didn’t wake up at all. He has slept all night every night since then, too. The teeth still haven’t popped through, but I feel like his little gums aren’t in nearly as much pain as they were. The drooling has gone way down, too. My washing machine is so thankful!

I still melt when my kids say “Mommy”. The best!
My favorite moment as a new mom has to be every day when I get home from work. William stays at home with my mom, and as soon as he hears me come in the door, he is turning as hard as he can to see me! He then breaks into a HUGE smile. It just makes all those sleepless nights and trying times so worth it!!! Thanks for hosting this great giveaway!!
My favorite moment is when I walked into her room in the morning and say “good morning sunshine!” and she gives me a big smile.
Seeing her smile and hearing her laugh. Makes all the tough stuff worth it!
The list for my favorite moment as a new mom is endless!!! There is the first smile, the first laugh, the first time he crawled, the first time he said mom, and on and on and one. However, the love I feel for my little man is most definitely the best thing about being a new mom!! I never knew I could love someone so much!
Baby #2 is 2.5 months old and I got him to laugh last night when I tickled him. It. was. awesome. All over again! Who knew it could be just as much fun the second time around! Ha! 🙂
My favorite moment as a very new mom has to have been the first time she felt our dogs fur. It was the first time she let out a deep belly laugh-I will NEVER forget it!
The first smile and the first time they say “mama” melts me every time !
I would have to say when Carson looks at my growing belly and says mommy I love my baby sister!
the first moment after birth when your baby looks at you from your chest
I am almost a new mom (in a few months!) and my favorite moment so far has been feeling him kick and move all around inside me…priceless!
My favorite moment as a new mom is when she is fussing or uncomfortable and I pick her up…and she calms instantly…I love being her favorite source of comfort and joy. This feeling even gets me through the nights when she is uncomfortable with teething or gas and wants me to hold her ALL night long! I just love being her one and only Mama.
My son is seven ( turning 8 in July) and still tell me one hundred times a day that he loves me! Pure bliss!
My favorite mom moment is when my son said “mama” for the first time. Music to my ears!!!

My kids are mostly grown now, but I still remember the first smile from each of them. It was the best!
My favorite new momma moment is when they are fussing and crying and than you pick them up and snuggle them and they stop and sigh, contented. They just wanted their momma.
My favorite moment as a new mom changes almost daily! Probably one of my favorite moments is every time I hear him say a new word for the first time–he’s 15 months old now and that is happening a lot 🙂
My favorite moment is everynight when my 3 yr old says, “I’m so glad you’re my mama”
My favorite moment as a new mom was when I realized that my baby got comfort from me snuggling him. I loved being able to do that!
Oh I have had so many favorite moments with Caden, but probably the best one ever was when I was sitting at his bedside after his surgery and he opened his eyes for the first time. Such a little miracle! 🙂
There are too many to I choose just one! I love when laughs, wants to be held by only me (sometimes!), is learning a new trick/skill and a million more things!
That first smile!! so amazing!
My favorite moment was last Sunday, actually. Oliver is 4 1/2 months old and I got him to belly laugh over and over again for the first time. What a glorious sound!!
I think my most favorite moment so far is the first time my ltitle girl told me she loved me. I’ve been telling her all her life of course, but hearing it back was so wonderful. And every day it still melts my heart, she says “loves you mommy”.
My first favorite moment as a new mom was the morning Harry smiled for the first time – it was 5am & just me & him. The rest of the world was silent & his little face lit up for me.
“Lovey you”… it’s all I need to hear each day from my kids. Melts me.
There are so many but my absolute favorite for both kids was hearing mama for the first time!
My favorite moment as a new mom is repeated almost everyday. I love when he reaches for me to pick him up, whether he’s on the floor, in the high chair, or being held by someone else. I love that he wants me!
I have several favorite moments, but one of the top on my list is seeing my son get so excited to take a bath. He’s going on 8 months old and just kicks and splashes and squeals and smiles the biggest smile as he’s getting his nightly bath. I just love it! Of course, this is one of many things that makes being a mom amazing. Thanks for this chance to win, Erin! Your little Hayes is so precious. Hudson, too, but that doc band just makes him so stinkin cute!! 😉
Thank you for this post!! Teething for my kids was horrible and we were forced to do meds because I refused to use the hylands teething tablets because of the belladonna. So nice to know there’s a natural option out there for when we have our next one!
My favorite moment was when Alivia did the deep belly laugh for the first time. LOVED it and will never forget it – it was on Thanksgiving that year. Anyway, sorry to hear Hayes has a tough time with teething. Alivia has too and it is just rough. Glad that the teething tablets worked – will have to try them when she gets her two year molars!
When she smiles and laughs…there is healing power in that!
It’s been a while since I was a new Mom, but I have recently become a new grandmother. When my granddaughter was here at Christmas, she would hear my bedroom door open (it squeaks ) and she would run to look up at the upstairs rail and scream “Mimi”. I love it. Her immediate comment next would be “where’s grandpa?”.
When Hudson was tiny and would jut curl up right under my chin after a feeding.
My favorite moment as a mom of three was learning all the new things about each one of them and how different but so alike their personalities are. The each loved playing in the bath tub and being outside. We use the same Orajel tablets for our little one who is cutting 4 teeth right now!!!
not sure a new stepmom moment counts. i loved a moment when my stepdaughter called me “momma (my first name)” – spontaneously. out of nowhere and without prompting. it melted my heart.
One of my favorite parts of being a mom is watching my babies sleep and knowing how loved and protected they are in that moment. They are 5 and 8 now and I still love watching them sleep!
The first time he laughed was so awesome! It’s the cutest sound!
My son had a speech delay and one of my favorite moments was when he finally was able to say Mommy. It warmed my heart.
Love it when they start telling you original thoughts, especially when it’s “I love you, mommy!”
I love the first time my babies smile at me…as if they finally realize I’m their mommy…best feeling in the world!!
My favorite new mom moment has to be when our son laughed for the first time. Not the happy cooing we’d been hearing for weeks, but the first actual, from the gut laugh. It was absolutely amazing!
When my boys each said “momma” for the first time! Hands down my best moments in motherhood 🙂

There are countless things on my list of favorites. However, I love watching the way my little girl loves! She has the biggest hugs, sweetest kisses and is always concerned for others. Each night when she says her blessings she includes any person and animal that she has ever seen. She is only 20 months, but her heart is so full of love!
My favorite new mom moment is when my 22 month old needs comforting that only his mommy can provide! It is such a great feeling to know that all he wants is his mommy! Absolutely the best feeling in the world! 🙂
It may sound crazy, but I like it when my little guy is defiant. Makes me realize how much like me he actually is and how much a little person he is too!
One of my favorite moments as a mom is in the mornings with my little fella. He is in the best mood and I can hear his little feet pitter patter across the hardwood floor as he runs into our room. My heart about bursts.
Every time I put my son to bed, he grabs on tight and lays his head on my shoulder and just snuggles for several minutes. It’s his way of trying to stop me from putting him to bed but those snuggles are my favorite time of the day.
My favorite moment right now is when he figures something out and gets this big grin on his face. It’s like a light bulb went off for him and I realize he’s getting so big.
The cuddles and giggles are the best. When they lay their head on your shoulder and pat your back with their little hand. It’s the best!!
The full mouth smiles are the best.
when she popped her head up and smiled at me for the first time when i walked into her room singing to wake her up! so sweet! she just grins and grins and then hides her face and kicks her legs becasue she is so excited to see you!
My favorite moment so far is when I go to get my son in the morning and he smiles SO big when he sees me!!
When my 7 mo daughter pants like a dog because she gets so excited to see me. It makes me laugh hysterically every time 🙂
When my little sweetie is nursing and stops and smiles up at me and pats my face. Melt my heart, and make all of the tough stuff worth while.
My favorite mommy moment was rocking my now 5 year old to sleep when she was much younger. She still likes to be rocked every now and then 🙂
My favorite mommy moment is when I’m holding my baby and he lays his sweet head on my shoulder. I can feel him breathing and smell that sweet baby breath. It’s the greatest moment ever.
Since my baby is still in utero, my favorite moment has been feeling him move all over – but I’m looking forward so much to finally holding him!
My favorite mommy moment is when my babies would get excited when I pick them up from my Mom after work. It seems like all of a sudden, out of no where my babies would start recognizing me and getting excited when I came to pick them up. I love it! It shows how much they love me before they can even speak!!
Favorite Mommy moment. Oh my there were so many. When the baby smile at you for the first time. When the baby lights up when you enter the room!

My favorite moment as a “new” mom for the second time was when Chase (2 1/2 yrs) ran over to Connor (1 yr) who had just fallen while walking and said “It’s okay Connor. No cry. I love you!” I just melted!!!
My favorite new mommy moment was when my daughter took her first steps. I’ve never been more excited or proud in my life.
One of my favorite moments was when my son first started laughing. a good hardy chuckle from my baby boy was priceless – and you can bet whatever goofy thing we were doing, we did it for so long to continue hearing him laugh!
I tweeted the giveaway 🙂

So many favorite moments! But I will narrow it down and say when R holds her hands up for me to hold her and whine this certain whine when holding her hands up. It’s the sweetest thing! And she also shuffles her feet like she is dancing while standing waiting on me to pick her up.
My favorite moment as a new mom is holding their tiny little hands for the first time.

Honestly, I think one of my favorite moments was nursing my boys. I loved the quiet, intimate one-on-one moments we had, and loved it when their little hands would reach up to touch my face or chest. So sweet.
One of my favorite moments is something that happens every day: when I come in to pick my baby up out of his crib from his naps. I love his sleepy eyes and his bed head and how excited/relieved he always is when I come in to pick him up!
I have to say it was the first time she looked at me and said, “Mama” and actually knew what she was saying. I still ADORE when she says it!
My favorite mom moment is walking into my daughter’s bedroom each morning. Her eyes light up, she jumps up and says “hi!”
I’m about to be a new mom in 10 weeks. I’m most looking forward to just holding my baby!
My favorite moment as a new mom is watching my baby do new things each week. He surprises us each week with a new skill or preference! There is nothing more exciting than watching him be proud of himself!
My favorite (of many!) new moment as a new mom is watching Charlotte see and experience things for the first time. I truly feel like I am experiencing them all over again, and she has made me so much more appreciative of the little things in life. She is teaching me every day!
My favorite moment as a new mom was just seconds after he was born. The doctor laid him on my bare stomach and he just looked right up into my eyes and held my gaze… No crying or anything! I fell instantly in love and I think that moment gave us the strong bond that we still have today, 7 years later! 🙂
The first smile is so AWESOME and the first time they sleep through the night is AMAZING! Both of those are at the top of my list!!!
My favorite moment is watching Rowan learn or discover something for the first time. It’s truly magical to see his eyes light up.
My favorite very new mom moment was waking up the morning after we brought our first baby home – I finally felt like a real mom!
My fav moment as a mom of two has been watching my 2 year old boy lovingly place toys around my now 3 month old boy when I wasn’t watching. Then he laid down next to him to tickle his tummy and his little brother just stared at him so adoringly. Precious precious moments.
My favorite new mom moments were nursing and the first smile. Blame it on hormones, but I cried buckets when she smiled for the first time.
My son was 6 weeks old when he smiled a real smile at me for the first time. It was just before 6 am on NYE. I’ll never forget it. An also, now that he’s older, he’ll walk over and say, “I love you!” and give my husband or me a great big kiss. Motherhood is the best. 🙂
my “melt your heart” moment was when i said “i love you” and my 2 yr old responded with “i wuh you too!”
My favorite moments are when my daughter says a new word – she is always so proud of herself and I love to see her so happy to be learning!
My favorite was the first time my little one put a big wet kiss on my cheek 🙂
My daughter will take put her hands on each side of my face and pull me close to give me a kiss – LOVE it!
I won’t officially be a mom for two more months but my favorite mommy moment so far was telling my husband that we were expecting!
My blog post is http://jayandanni.blogspot.com/2012/05/to-do-list.html
My favorite moments are when I hear him wake up in the other room and say “Mama?” “Mama?” – For me there is nothing sweeter!!
All the special ways that my kids tell me they love me…for example my four old most recently is telling me “that she loves me to the moon and back”…it doesn’t get much better than that!!
Not a mom yet, but have loved it when each of my friends’ kids have said my name for the first time! Thanks for the give away offer!
when i heard mama…and when I saw his face for the very first time….
My favorite moment has been watching my son explore his new world on a daily basis!
My favorite part is having her melt in my arms when she wants to cuddle! I’m in heaven.
My favorite moment as a new mom was her first laugh – it seemed like such a big deal!
At night, just before we put him into his crib, he reaches up with both hands and touches our faces. I believe it’s his way of saying “I love you.” Best thing ever.
My favorite moments as a new mother were when my son would fall asleep on my chest, and we would cuddle. I wanted those moments to last forever.
My favorite moment as an expecting mom has been telling all of our family and friends that we are finally pregnant. After 5+ years of trying the day was finally here!
I would definitely say my favorite moment was when my little one laughed, really laughed, for the first time. Whatever you did to make them laugh you do it over and over just to see it again 🙂
My favorite moment as a new Mom was the first time my baby girl smiled at me!
How do I narrow it down? Now that my baby is a toddler I really look back and remember all the times when he was a newborn and he would fall asleep on my chest. I would just melt everytime.
when my son started crawling! such a FUN stage to watch them explore their surroundings!
my moment actually came today when my son held a “real” cup for the first time and drank from it without spilling it all over the place. I was so excited. Its awesome seeing your children learn new things! Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite moment as Mom was holding him and rocking him to sleep. He is so sweet and peaceful and snuggled right into his mommy. I love it! Thanks for the great giveaway.
My very favorite moment is the first time they sleep through the night! 😉 A close second would be the first smile.
My current favorite moment is every morning when I leave my four year old holds his arms back and then says, “Bigggg Hug!” Then he gives a huge long hug. Great way to start my day. 🙂
My favorite moments are experiencing and photographing my little one as she experiences life for the first times…so far favorites have been watching her touch snow and watching her run through the sprinkler and squeal with glee!
My favorite moments right now (at 13 months) are late in the evening when he is completely delirious and bursts out in uncontrollable laughter.. We never know what will set him off, but when he starts, he can’t stop and it’s just adorable!
I love it when someone else is holding my 8 month old baby girl and she sees me and breaks into a huge grin. 🙂
My moments were rocking him and I still cuddle his two year old body up next to me and rock him every night. I love our alone time.
It’s so hard to pick just one favorite moment – but holding my baby girl for the first time was absolutely amazing!
I have a 3 month old and I swear the last 13 months have been my favorite ‘mommy moment!’ but he just started really laughing and it is the best!!
I love the smile I get every morning when I go get my sweet angel out of her bed!!
Oh we have hit the teething stage with Quinn and it just makes me so sad for him. The best moments are when he is upset and I can do something silly to make him smile and giggle. That little giggle is the best!
Not a mom yet, but I have to say being able to be there to hold my niece just moments after delivery was a moment I won’t forget.
My fave moments are when my 4 year old son tells me out of the blue that he loves me and when my baby girl (who will be 1 on Friday!!!) gives me a kiss, she just learned how!
My favorite moment is the first time hearing that belly laugh!!
My favorite moments are when I can get her to smile or giggle. Love those giggles!
My favorite mom memory, so far, is the crazy kicks and rolls that I get from this baby in my belly. I am loving each and everyone one! I swear I can sit on the couch for an hour and watch him roll and move. I can’t imagine seeing him when he is finally born!!!
My most favorite thing as a new mom is when my little man who is now 3 says “I love you mom, you are the best girl, I ever seen” I didn’t think it could get any better than this, until my now 11 month old clapped for the first time. With your first child you have no idea how the progression of learning is supposed to take place, but when you have that second, you realize how incredible amazing it is when they learn to do the things they are supposed to be doing at their age. I took it for granted with the first but now, I am incredibly thankful for each new thing my baby does! God is so so good…
Definitely being the first person your child looks too when they are hurt, sick or scared. Although, I hate all those times, it’s so great knowing you are the one your child looks to for comfort.
Here’s my tweet!

My favorite moment is the first time they say “I love you” back… I have a 2 year old and twin infants (5 months old), so I’ve only heard it from one of them so far – but it was a moment that will live in my memory forever! (And hopefully sustain me through the teen years when it’s not heard as often!)
I just love it when I get snuggle time- I have 3 kids (a 2yo and 2 6mos) and only 1 likes to snuggle! So I take it where I can get it:)
My baby girl should arrive within the next 3 weeks and I can not wait to make favorite moments with her and my husband!!
Seeing his smile is my favorite moment
the first smile is the best moment as a mom!
https://twitter.com/#!/ElenaIstomina/status/197428828308635648
I’m a mom-to-be and my favorite moment thus far has been seeing the little ones arms/ legs move for the first time.
My favorite moment is the very first night in the hospital after I’ve given birth. This night is the very reason why I have 4 kids, I wanted to experience this night again and again! It is so peaceful, laying in the darkened hospital room with something on tv turned low in the background, lying on your side with the bed halfway up and your brand new tiny baby curled up against your side. Those super soft tiny white snap shirts that they put on both the baby’s top half and bottom half…baby not yet really hungry so mostly just sleeping…just staring at the baby’s face in awe that this little being was inside your body just yesterday. I looked forward to this first night with every one of my pregnancies.
One of my favorite parts about being a mom of two is seeing them interact, love on each other, help one another and take of each other. It blesses my heart!
My favorite moment so far has been watching my family enjoy my son so much!
One of my favorite moments as a mom is the first time they smile at you. It just makes my heart melt.
Not a mom, but work with kids. I love when they give spontaneous hugs…..it’s so sweet to get love like that for no reason!!
I Tweeted! https://twitter.com/#!/aRealLifeWife/status/197473525454487552
I’m not a new mom, but I’m so excited for friends that are having their first babies…. I love how babies bring so many friends together to celebrate a new life!
That’s tough… my favorite started with feeling him move for the very first time. Then holding him in my arms. Then spending my days with him. There have been lots of favorite moments. =) Now I’m loving seeing my 2 boys together. I am super blessed!
My favorite moments were the quiet nights in the hospital.i sent my hubby home to sleep since we lived close by and the cot they provided was not too comfy. I loved our midnight snuggles and just those times where I looked into his eyes and knew that he knew he was safe. It was just a great feeling to look at him and know he was mine and I was his mommy.
Being a mom to a 7 month old, my favorite part is that gleam in his eyes when he sees me first thing in the morning. Nothing like it!
So I’m not yet a new mom… Expecting October 2012! 🙂 I’m SO terrified – but I’m really excited for all of it! 🙂
and I tweeted! https://twitter.com/#!/itsahero/status/197490074173181952
A big dimpled smile! 🙂
My favorite moment as a new mom was learning I could love someone in such a special way you can’t describe. Knowing this little life was totally dependent on you and realizing you help shape the rest of their lives gave me a real sense of being a mom. Nothing compares!
My sweet boy isn’t here yet but my favorite moments are when he moves around! 🙂
when my sons see me coming…even just from the other room…and smile because they are so happy to see their mama!
Im not a Mommy but my favorite part about being an Auntie is doing things with my Niece that Mom and Dad wont let her do like have make up nights or jumping in Puddles or having ice cream too late! Its silly moments like that with my favorite 5 year old that make me smile the most!
Since Owen was a little baby I have always told him “I love you with all of my heart”. I have to say the best moment as a mommy so far was hearing him say one day while we were cuddling on the couch “mommy- i love’s u all my heart”. It was so sweet I seriously could have cried. Now he says it all of the time when he is in a “sweet” mood and I know he means it. Melt my heart!
I love the first moment when I notice my new baby’s eyelashes! With my first daughter they came in when she was 3 weeks old. My second daughter had beautiful, dark, long lashes from birth. They both have deep blue eyes surrounded by gorgeous lashes!
My favorite moment so far is the first time I took my boy to the ocean. It was just last week- his eye’s got so big! He giggled and gazed in wonder at just how beautiful the world can be. It is those moments that make my life just that much sweeter.
I tweeted- hope this worked correctly- https://twitter.com/#!/LittleFamBlog/status/197530660192256001
Loved the first chuckle with both babies!! Just makes me smile!
Hearing my baby say MUM for the first time.. awww <3
One of my favorite moments as a mom is seeing our daughter who is 5 months smile and laugh with her big brother! It made his day!
So much to love, but the first time my girl laughed tops my list. Her giggles just delight me and I’ll do about anything to get her going.
Teething is coming up for us-hopefully it won’t be too hard on her! I hope the worst is over for Hayes.
I am due with my first any minute so I have not had to have a first moment yet but I am excited to find out!!!
I love how proud of herself she is when she learns something new! Who knew clapping could be such an accomplishment 🙂
I could list 1000 things, but my favorite has to be when my girls make each other laugh. It can lighten up even the toughest days!
Picking one is so hard. But i would have to say when my 11 mo old rolled over for the first time. For some reason I anticipated this milestone so much so when it finally happened I was so proud. Now she is walking!
My favorite moment was nursing my kids and their cute little faces looking so content and satisfied.
so far, my favorite moment has been when he wraps his arms around me when I get home from work and gives me a great big hug. Love that. He’s always so excited to see me!
When they would hear my voice and search for me!
I loved giving my new baby girl a bath each night and lathering her up with sweet baby lotion and then cuddling her until she fell asleep in my arms. Miss that so much!!!
I love walking into the nursery each morning and peeking over the crib, she gives me the biggest grin you’ve ever seen! 🙂
I would love to win this giftcard! Thanks for hosting!
I’m constantly getting new favorites with our sweet 2 1/2-month old, but one of my favorite moments was the very first night, when the nurse brought him in for a feeding and I woke up and remembered: “My baby’s here!” I’ll never forget that surge of emotion.
my favorite mama moment? hearing my babies cry for the very first time at birth and seeing their sweet faces!
My favorite moment as a new Mom was when my son (now almost 6!) was crying very loudly in the nursery so they brought him to me and he instantly calmed down. It was so nice to know that already, I could have such an impact and that he knew I was his Mom!
Thanks for the give away!
New mom of three months…my favorite moment so far was the first time my baby girl smiled at me.
I have a 10 month old and I just love watching her learn something new. It’s amazing how fast she picks up on things. I just love how smart she is becoming. And I know I will just die the day she finally says “mama”. 🙂
favorite mom moment so far – the first morning I woke up to her calling for mama. Such a great way to wake up in the morning!
My favorite moments were the first steps and first words.

i love seeing my daughter smile
I love them all- even the super trying times! The first cry, first smile, first laugh, first kiss and hugs, etc. Having a 5 year old and now a 6 week old, I am loving getting to relive and remember each of these incredible moments! One of my favorites, however, is not knowing if our older one would ever even talk, was hearing her say I love you, mommy for the first time at over 3 years old. I cried and cried! It still brings tears to my eyes! I also love now seeing her as a big sister and can’t wait to see what life has for my 2 girls each and every day! Being a mom is the biggest and best blessing I can imagine!
My favorite moment as a new mom…hmmmm…so many. I loved seeing his toes touch the sand and the ocean for the first time. I loved leaving his room tonight and hearing him say “night-night mama.” I love sloppy kisses. I loved the precious first moments in the hospital with just me, my husband, and my new son.
My favorite moment as a new Mom was seeing my baby sound asleep in my arms. That’s just sweet and peaceful.

Oh girl I wish mine were silent teethers! 7 months later, Brynley is just now sleeping through the night for more than two nights in a row, and signs of a tiny tooth peeking out, but man I’d try anything! We do teething tabs, Orajel Naturals gel, cold wash cloths, baby Tylenol, you name it and our babies were still miserable!

snuggling with my girl!
I loved all the firsts…even the not so fun ones. But really, the first time my daughter prayed by herself–without any prompting from us just melted my heart. To see them love Jesus with all their heart–there’s nothing like it!!

There are so many great moments! My son just turned 3 months old and my favorites to date have been his first smile and hearing him start to giggle. His laugh still kind of sounds like the hiccups, but it’s hilarious and so cute!
My favorite moments were watching her sleep…..I could watch her forever…so peaceful
Just being able to watch them grow, and learn Is just amazing.

I only became a mom 10 days ago, so I don’t know what my favorite moment is! They all seem so precious–the way he dozes off after we nurse, all his funny faces, making eye contact, and the way he’s sleeping on my chest right now. So far I just love having the chance to be a mommy.
just sitting there holding my newborns as they sleep… so sweet. And of course the first smile!
The very FIRST moment, the first time I held her! =)

Honestly, my favorite moment with the moment my daughter and I first met. 🙂

I love Target!
I don’t have babies yet! But, I can’t wait I experience those moments!!
My favorite moment is when they fall asleep in your arms and sleep so peacefully and do one of those sleep smiles. I could sit and watch my baby sleep all day.
My favorite moment as a new mom was most definitely right after they were born. The visitors, nurses, and husband left. It was just me and the baby. I got to inspect their little fingers and toes, I got to snuggle close to them and smell their sweet new baby smell, and I got to experience just the awe of the miracle and blessing they are. I have such sweet memories stored in my heart about those moments.

I was a totally inexperienced 18 year old when my oldest son was born. I’d never even changed a diaper. The first time I changed him in the hospital I put the diaper on backwards. Now that baby is about to turn 30. I can barely believe it.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Hearing “Mama, Iiiii’m up!” first thing in the morning from my middle son. He says it so sweetly. And hearing the running of my oldest across the hardwood floors to my room first thing in the morning.

My favorite moment was when my oldest first met our new baby. He is normally a very busy and loud boy but for her, he slowed and quieted and just soaked her in. I really enjoyed watching him fall in love with his baby sister!
It has been a little bit since I was a new mom, but my favorite moments were the closeness I felt with my babies when they were nursing.
Some of my favorite moments was watching my husbands response to holding his new baby and becoming a daddy. It was so special to watch.
A favorite moment of mine was the first time my daughter did belly laughs over and over.

There is a special smile that is just for mom. I can’t describe it but when I see it I know it’s pure love.
My favorite moment happened recently when my 1 yr old niece said “Hi” to me for the first time. It just melted my heart.

I don’t have any kids, but I do have 7 cats that are my babies with fur! hahaha One of my fav moments with my kitties is when they choose to be with me rather than doing something else they may like better. Example: a kitty will be laying in the sun bathing and looking quite happy…then we make eye contact, I smile at them and they stretch and come over to me for snuggles. When I don’t call them and its all quiet body language like that, its really amazingly sweet.

feeling that unconditional love
It was long ago but I still remember my daughters first steps
I’m not a mom, but I love watching babies try to communicate 🙂
My son came to us first as a foster child. I’ve had many wonderful moments, but probably one of the most memorable was when he started calling me “Mom”.
