Sunday stuff

I’ll be posting my September sponsors post soon. I can’t wait for you all to read about the four new sponsors for this month!

Today, I wanted to share a few fun thoughts and fun internet finds. I can’t believe this weekend is almost over. We spent most of ours inside because it’s apparently monsoon season in South Carolina. Seriously. The downpours have been remarkable.

1. It does nothing for my weight loss efforts, but I am currently obsessed with the Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks. It is so delicious. I seriously want one every night after supper. Not good.

2. Why must everything in blogging be so competitive? Isn’t there room for us all? We all have things to share, say and discuss and I just hate seeing so much competitiveness.

3. I realize this makes me a little bit cuckoo, but I have started putting together inspiration boards for Hayes’s first birthday party and for Hudson’s third birthday party. Things have a tendency to sneak up on me, so I want to have a plan when the time comes for me to get to work.

4. My friend, Lindsey, sent me this super fun list the other day! Check it out and print it out. This is the Fall Bucket List for Southern Belles– and it includes cranking up your air conditioner and turning on your fire place. Hilarious! We’ve all been there– even on an 80 degree Christmas day. And of course it includes cheering on an SEC team. (How ’bout them Gamecocks, huh?)

5. Today is my 4 year anniversary of blogging. I’m going to spend a little bit of time today going back and reading old posts from four years ago. Time flies… yet it somehow creeps. So crazy!

6. Finally, my mom gets here today. I’m so excited. I haven’t seen her in a couple of months. Hayes and I got to spend some time with her and my dad in Atlanta in July. Hudson hasn’t seen her since June. This visit is long overdue- we’re all so excited!

At the rate we’re going here in Texas, I think we’ll be swimming on Christmas. But that’s a really cute bucket list. I’ve decided to rebel against the hot weather. I don’t care if my A.C. is going. My house is going to scream fall from the inside. Cinnamon, pumpkins, leaves, etc.

I need to try the salted caramel mocha. I love the regular mocha, so I’m sure it’s delicious too.

I’m already planning Landon’s first birthday party and it’s not until June. Nothing wrong with planning ahead 🙂

happy blog-iversary! and if you’re cuckoo….then so am I! i definitely have inspiration boards for libbi and laney’s 3rd and 1st bdays in my pinterest files. 🙂 no shame in planning ahead!!

Love the salted caramel mocha as well! If you get it without the whip cream and with skim milk, then it’s not so bad for you (at least that’s what I tell myself!)

Salted Caramel anything at Starbucks is too die for (and I’m not even supposed to have sugar right now). Had a few sips of my dads SC mocha latte today and it was the best thing I’ve ever sipped. Can’t wait to have this baby and drink them whenever I want!

Her list is cute. I guess it’s true–seasons just are a little different everywhere 😉 I’m all about planning ahead for the birthday parties. Pinterest makes it THAT much easier. I have had a board pinned for E’s big girl room since she was like 3 months old. oops 😉

First off…Go Cocks!! I live in NC but my husband loves the Gamecocks…so of course that makes me a fan too! My boys will turn 1 and 3 in June and I’m already thinking about their party…so I totally can relate, we need a head start for things like that!!

I love salted caramel cupcakes so I was super excited to see it on the fall menu, but I tried it today and it wasn’t as caramelly and salty as I hoped. maybe b/c I got it iced, it just wasn’t the same? (or maybe not the best barista?!) anyway, I am hoping they bring the toffe mocha back soon, that one was so GOOD!! I LOVE fall bucket lists and thanks for sharing another. I really enjoyed reading your recap of the past 4 yrs, too, since I started reading after Hudson was born.
