My friend, Meredith, at Sweet T Family is hosting a link-up today for everyone to show off their 2011-2012 Erin Condren Life Planners.
I am so excited about my Erin Condren Life Planner. I ordered it the day they were first available and mine actually shipped before her system was hacked. I was so happy that my order didn’t get messed up, but Erin Condren and her team handled this like champs and it seems that everyone’s order was straightened out. If you haven’t received yours yet, hang in there. It’s coming and it will be fabulous when it arrives.
The customer service is really impressive and the team really focuses on the details, all the way down to the packaging.
I chose the Candy Lace pattern in Mocha/Multi, which ended up being a really popular design. I love it even more in person!
I decided to do a vlog, so I could show more of the pages of the planner and get a chance to show y’all my home organization notebook and some of the other Erin Condren goodies I ordered after the Plum District deal.
Two things: 1. This is almost seven minutes long. If you want to know how you can talk about a Life Planner for seven minutes, watch this… 2. I say “umm” a lot. Anyone care to count how many times?

You are adorable- I feel like vlogs make you “know” a person better- mannerisms etc. You also look really young- which I mean 100% as a compliment.
I am going to buy stuff tomorrow for my home org notebook. I needed to see my life planner to know what I needed in my notebook but I’m so excited to get a system in place and start being more efficient.

Is your Erin Condren notebook more of a calendar and your Life Planner binder more of a list making/planning spot? How do you organize your bills/household maintenance information, etc?
I’m trying to figure out if I need both systems, or keep it all in one spot. Is your Erin Condren book going to go in your bag with you when you the house? Or will it stay in one spot?

Congrats on your vlog. It was very cute! I’m so torn on whether or not to get a planner. I have google calendars that I share with the hubs on our phones so he can always be in the loop but I love writing things down as well. I’m just not sure if I can keep up with both.

I’m interested in knowing your history with using planners. Personally, I’ve never really been able to get into them but seeing all this makes me wonder if I should. I love being organized in just about every other area of my life so it seems like time management should be a natural thing for me but it just hasn’t been. So how/when did you get started using planners?

I love your planner! It is so cute! I have been looking for a planner for awhile and settled on one that I got on sale at Boarders due to their massive closing clearance. I like it, but yours is fab. I looked at the link-up party and I couldn’t contain myself anymore and I purchased one. I am so excited for it! It won’t ship til the end of the month, but that’s okay. I loved the vlog! We may need more of those in the future! I love my momagenda, but you totally sold me on this life planner… so now I’ll have both! Yee!!! I just ordered mine! It is said to ship by August 29! I can’t wait!! I also have a family notebook (I call it our command center). It contains our daily schedules (chores, if you will), my meal planning guides, important phone numbers, important information (insurance, doctors etc) and certain things about the kids’ schedules (reminders of their bloodtypes and shot schedules). I also added some inspirational quotes to keep me going. I think I’m going to like this planner better than my miniagenda that I’ve been using. I like that it’s spiral and will therefore open up completely. That’s been one of my pet peeves with the momagenda. Thanks for the info! I love how blogs can open up a whole new world!

You’re the one who turned me on to ErinCondren.com. I got my Life Planner and gift labels a couple weeks ago and love them! My only complaint is that the Life Planner is so heavy (makes my purse weigh a million pounds). Otherwise I love it all!
I am sitting here astounded after reading your blog and watching you vlog. I have raised three successful and well educated children, been married only once to the same man for #”s of years, have a beautiful well appointed home. I have also done most of the inside and outside work myself. I love my life and what I have accomplished.
I did not have a mom agenda or a life planner. I cannot now figure out how I did it all without them? Wait, I think I have the answer: I didn’t sit around blogging, tweeting, or writing in notebooks like a student. I knew what needed to be done and I did it. It’s actually quite simple. Yall’ should try it sometime. Oh, I just saw the movie, THE HELP, and it reminded me so much of all of you. Take that as you will.

I love the life planner! Unfortunately, being out on maternity leave, I do not have the money to spend on this fun item. I had to get a less expensive planner. Next year I will definitely investing in this planner and maybe possibly the teacher planner too from Erin Condren! Great vlog, Erin!!!

I’ve recently started a new business (event planning) and I’m curious if the planner would work for this or if it’s really more of a personal planning tool. I always try to keep things simple and minimalistic so I just wanted your thoughts on this. Thanks for sharing.

First off, you are so cute! I can’t wait to get my Erin Condren planner I love the pattern you chose too it was my second choice. I think I may create a home organization notebook as well would be nice to everything we need in one place. As a new Mom who is about to go back to work I need all the organization help I can get.
I can’t wait to get mine TOMORROW!! I had to order twice b/c of the hacking, so it is taking forever! Love the vlog. I also created a home organization notebook and it has changed my life – seriously. I mostly use it for daily to do lists, weekly menu planning and tracking my monthly spending, but I have ideas of how more to use it for gifts, etc. It is already SO useful for just those 3 things. I feel SO much more put together and on top of things.

Love it, so cute. I finally got a chance to watch it! I am trying to figure out a couple things… on the life organizer… is it mainly a monthly and weekly calendar? and then you have a separate binder (the black one) for meals and other stuff? what exactly is this “other stuff”? HAHA. i am *trying* to get organized… but I’m not sure what exactly to organize… and trying to figure out if doing it all on the iphone is easier or if the binder/write it out method is better. I work full time, like all the time.. and don’t have kids.. yet, we have piles of mail, bills, thank you notes, etc..as for cooking.. i like to do it, but don’t really take/make the time to plan, so i live on baked chicken, veggies, and protein drinks. SO, I was just wondering in general what kind of stuff you in the binders, and if the life planner is simply a calendar or if it’s more? it’s all super cute! no worries if you don’t have time for followup, i know how it goes!

I was at a friend’s house and showed her the planner & which was my favorite {didn’t realize it was the same one you had!} and before I had gotten home she’d ordered it for me! Right now I am working on my housekeeping notebook… I have had one for years and love idea of it… now I am just inspired again to get it updated and use it!

Totally late to the game. I finally got my Life Planner after the whole hacking thing etc. I got custom colors on it, etc. I’m in love!!!
