Okay, so I think the Bozo picture is actually very scary and it may be removed from my blog soon. But I can’t say “hip hip hooray” without thinking of the Bozo Show and the Grand! Prize! Game!
I digress.
Anyway we do have two big reasons to celebrate! I passed my glucose test despite all the chocolate cake-eating that occurred the night before. So I don’t have to go back for the three-hour test!
We’re also celebrating because Hudson had his follow up appointment with his doctor this morning and his ear infections are gone. Hallelujah! No tubes for now!
That’s all I’ve got for today. I’m folding laundry, reading a little bit, and preparing a delicious pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and asparagus supper for my family. Or for Todd and me because Hudson will probably refuse the good stuff and end up with grilled cheese. But at least his ear infections are gone!

Yay for passing the glucose test! And for Hudson getting better too!!! π
Good news all around. Pork tenderloin sounds yummy! And I loved the Grand Prize Game.
I used to LOVE bozo. Loved that toss the ball in the bucket game. GREAT memories.
Glad Hudson is feeling better! When I first saw the title of this post, I thought it said “hip hop horray!” do you remember that song? Hip hop horraaaaay, ho, haaaaaay, ho…..? LOL Random, I know π
I am being completely sincere when I say that I am SO HAPPY for you regarding your glucose test! If I hadn’t passed… it would have been awful. I love food so much and I’m not ashamed to say it. Enjoy your supper! Sounds great!
That is AWESOME for no ear infections and you passing your gluecose test !
So happy for you!
That dinner sounds delicious ! π
I’m glad that you passed the glucose test and that Hudson’s ear infection is gone!
I have to also say that I used to LOVE Bozo. He is the only clown I have ever liked. My brother and I used to play our own version of some of his games. Throwing balls in the buckets was my favorite.
WHOO HOO! Hudson is finally feeling better! I know you must be so happy.
Hahaha. How funny you post Bozo…I remember that crazy, creeper from when I was little!
Congrats on passing your test…so glad you don’t have to go back.
Two great things to celebrate π Have a wonderful weekend!
Yay! Great news! And, yes, that Bozo picture is terrifying.
Oh my word! Was the audience really that small at the Bozo Show? When I watched as a kid (and I did, every. single. weekday.), the crowd seemed huge! And the buckets seemed so much farther apart! Do you remember the prize in number 6? A Brand New 50 dollar bill, until later I think it became a 100 dollar bill. Also, I think there was a bicycle. Oh, such good memories.
i’m really happy for all of you!! now you can continue eating chocolate cakes!!
Yay! Great news! I’ve done the 3 hour glucose test (and failed :() and it is not fun.
that is great news…for both things! I think we may be having pork tenderloin for dinner too π
those pics are pretty scary, haha.
I almost had to click out b/c of the clown… I scrolled REALLY REALLY FAST!
But Hoooray on both accounts – great news!!!
Woohoo!!! Great news… And you can’t go wrong with a grilled cheese Hudson!
Such great news, and terrifying picture of bozo! I had good news at the doctor today too-I will email you tomorrow!
Creepy clown picture! At first that I thought that the clown was “It” (you know, the creepy Stephen King clown), not Bozo. I guess what Bozo is better since he doesn’t kill children, right?
Hooray for passing the glucose test! I hated getting mine… I was starving, had to down a nasty orange drink, felt the baby go crazy in my stomach from the drink, then felt sleepy and sick. No fun.
Thank goodness!!!!
LOL! I TOTALLY remember Bozo. Can you say Blast From The Past!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah for Good news. I was always so nervous for the glucose tests. I am so glad your little man’s ears are getting better. I loved the Bozo show, especially the Grand Prize Game and remember you could win a Schwinn bicycle. Thanks for the reminder. My kids would certainly be scared of Bozo, he is creepy now that I look back on it.
My brother went to the BOZO show when he was little…Bozo is kind of creepy! LOL
I am so happy that H doesn’t have to have tubes! YAY!!!
And Congrats again on passing your glucose test! π
Is it OK to say that I don’t find Bozo creepy in any way? When I was little, you either liked Bozo or Captain Kangaroo. There weren’t many other choices. I kinda looked up to Bozo, for my own personal reasons. Chuckie gave the clowns a bad rap. Now we have little kids, and adults, that find clowns creepy!
Just my opinion..
Congrats! You and your family are awesome!
I remember watching the bozo show @ June & Grans!! Thanks for the blast from the past!! π
I’m glad you passed your test & don’t have to go back for 3 hours!! I’m super happy Hudson is well!!
Dinner sounds delish!!
Did you know that I was ON the Bozo show when I was 6? Pretty intimidating!
Not going to lie…I almost didn’t read this post because that picture of Bozo freaked me out. I did watch the show a lot when I was younger, and I wanted to be the kid in the Grand! Prize! Game! π I would practice, too!
That dinner sounds yummy…hope you enjoyed it!
YAY!!!!! Great news all the way around π
I seriously havenβt thought about bozo the clown in forever, haha!! Too funny!!!!
Yea for good news!!!
Yay for Hudson! Ear infections are no fun! I had them a lot when I would a little kid. The only good part was I got that yummy pink medicine they gave me. Your supper sounds delicious…but grilled cheese is always a great option as well!
That’s great! π
My big brother got to play Bozo’s Buckets. He’s 7 years older than I am so I didn’t even exist when he did. However, I remain jealous to this day!!!
p.s. Glad for your two ‘hip hip hooray’ moments, of course!
I agree… Clowns are scary. Ha, ha. so glad you passed the glucose test!
Love your blog and never post comments. However please take some friendly advice from a mom of two who made the mistake of offering my kids something different than our dinner. They will never learn to eat anything other than kid food (mine were like this at one time). And you will be soon cooking 3 different dinners to meet their requests (this was impossible with 2 kids). A wise friend told me to GIVE them healthy breakfast/ lunches that they like and will eat for the most part but that dinner is what is served and nothing else. Yes there will be MANY nights where thay eat nothing or very little but that is OK, they won’t starve. What they will do though is learn to be healthy well rounded eaters. It was tough but at 3 and 5 my kids are great eaters unlike most of their friends. Just offering a tidbit from my experiences.
Okay.. the clown is scary and really freaked me out! I am glad your test went well… maybe we will see you at LG this week!
