Hudson is going to have a little brother! We’re having another precious baby boy!
We had a great appointment and all of my worries were put to rest. Our baby looked great and just as the baby turned, I saw it for myself and said, “I see it!” It was the same way with Hudson and there was no mistaking that we were having another crazy, sweet little boy.
We’re all so excited and I just know that Hudson will love having a brother that he can play with and teach so much! I snapped this picture of myself on my phone before I went to the appointment.
We have been brainstorming names for a while and have found that it’s really hard to come up with a name for our second boy. But we’ve got some ideas and I’m still not sure if I’ll share the final decision on the blog before the baby is born. But we’re working hard on giving him a good name!

Congrats Erin! My twin sister has two boys and I love watching them together. They are 4 years old and 18 months old. You are going to have so much fun! I have a six month little boy named Grayson. Oh Erin! I am so excited for you! We LOVE having two boys, and even though Slade is just 5.5 months old, I can already tell that he and Carson will be the BEST of friends. It’s so precious to watch the two of them together. AND it makes things SO easy as far as “preparing”– we have boy things coming out our ears. Congratulations!! I have 2 boys, they are only 22 months apart, and they are the BEST of friends. They are only 3 1/2 and 20 months old, but already they adore each other. It is so nice to have 2 of the same gender because they will always have a best friend in each other. You look great, and I am happy to hear that Baby # 2 is healthy! 🙂

Congrats! My first two boys are 19 months apart (ages 7 and almost 6 now) and they are inseperable! You’ll also love how easy it is when you get to have them share a closet and the shirts, at least, should be pretty much interchangeable.
BTW, love the Tums in the picture. Those were my best friend when I was pregnant, too!

Congrats on the big news! I’m already starting to think about a third (thinking, NOT anything more!) so at least one of my kids will have a same-gender sibling. Your boys will have a blast together growing up and being there for each other all their lives.
Question: what do you plan to do with the living arrangements? Will Baby Boy join Hudson in his nursery, or take over the nursery and will Hudson get a big-boy room? Right now my kids share a nursery but I’m starting to think of a toddler/preschooler-type room for Will.
