Book Beginnings and Bookends is the name of our new book club blog that Rachel from In No Simple Language and I started!
After I wrote my post last week where I mentioned that I’d love to be in a supper club, a bunco group, and a book club, a few of you commented that we should do a blogging book club. Well it’s here and we’re all going to be able to participate! It’s a shame we can’t start a blogging supper club. That’d be loads of fun!

This sounds great. I’ve always wanted to join a book club but I don’t know about any local ones so this is perfect. I plan to pick up the book this weekend.
I don’t know if I would be the best member since I typically have to be forced to read for pleasure (I read a LOT for my general education though). But the cover of that book makes me want to! It’s beautiful and that girl’s hair is the same as my little boy’s.
I’ll have to check out the virtual book club – how fun!
And, I love this book. My book club read it in the spring and I couldn’t put it down! I’m reading another book by this author now and it’s also a page-turner. Great choice!

Like @Leah, I’m a long-time lurker (thought I’ve probably commented a few times) and I’m a huge reader. I’ve been looking to join a book club but there are no “real life” ones around here for me to join. I think this is such a cool idea and I’m heading over there now =)
I’m so incredibly excited about this!!!! I’ve been wanting to start a book club here so badly, but since I know a whole 2 people it just wasn’t going to happen. I wondered about a blogging book club a bit, but just couldn’t figure out how I could make it happen. So glad you and Rachel came up with a brilliant idea, it’s going to be great!
This is so exciting!! I have been in a “read-all-the-time” kind of mood, and as soon as I finish one book I pick up another. I always read stuff from the same authors which is nice as I really like them, but I am always looking for fresh new reads that other people love. I am currently in a non-online bookclub that meets once a month but I would love other things to read as well. Cant wait to check out the new blog for a “sneak peek”… snuck another one in there for you! 😉
I’m in! I just picked it up at the library today. I’ve also been looking for a “live bookclub” with no luck. Just what the doctor ordered!
I am so in! This sounds perfect. I have wanted to do a book club for so long but my crazy night shift schedule would make meeting up with friends in real life next to impossible! This is perfect since we can all comment/discuss the books when the time is best for us!
