Hudson loves to get into the kitchen cabinets these days.
I arranged one cabinet to have only plastic things like mixing bowls, food storage containers, and other plastic cooking items. This way Hudson can open this cabinet and tear into it as much as he wants to.
And that’s exactly what he did!

I love the title of this post! These pictures are so adorable. It looks like Hudson is on a mission in them working away to re-organize all of your plastic containers 🙂 Too cute!
Future football player turned chef? Food Network would be on that like white on rice!
I read this post in my google reader about an hour ago but had to come back and comment. I have had “someones in the kitchen with Dina” stuck in my head since i reading. HAHA Thanks Erin! I hope you are having a good time in NYC. My husband and I will celebrate our two year anniversary on the 10th! Yay for the May 08 couples!
What a great idea! I have to tell you how much I adore your house. You have beautiful taste!
I loved playing in the kitchen cabinets when I was little, and my mom has so many pictures of me doing the very same thing Hudson is doing above! Why do we even need toys? haha!
That is so cute! My brother did that exact same thing when he was little, but he would take everything out, bang it around and then get inside the cabinet. Ha ha.
Too cute!!!
I remember my mom having the “Jessica drawer” when I was little. Anytime she was cooking, I could get out my pots and pans to “help” her.
Oh I think he looks so much like Todd in that first pic. What a cute set of pictures!
Adorable! Isn’t it cute how babies/kids have fun playing with things like tuperware? They could have a million toys around them, yet they find things like tuperware and empty water bottles fascinating.
I was just looking at my baby photos & in a lot of them, I was playing in the kitchen cabinets. Funny how much I loved the kitchen then, and I dislike it now!
ps – love your new blog design!
awe this is too cute! I can’t wait for my little bundle to “help'” me in the kitchen!
Isn’t it funny that you can spend all kinds of money on toys and then their favorites end up being pots and pans, these containers or something else equally as ordinary? So cute!
I bet he has a blast with the stuff that he “isnt supposed to play with” =)
Don’t you just love watching him discover new things, things we as adults take for granted? For example, I hadn’t just sat back and enjoyed watching the clouds for YEARS, until last week, when Lallie and I were laying on the raft in the pool and she started looking at the cloud shapes. It makes you sit back and just think about all of God’s creations we’re missing out on because of our quickly moving lives! (sorry for the tangent!)
I have a kitchen drawer for Lallie too, that way she can “help” me in the kitchen and we can still spend time together even though I’m doing a chore. Hudson is simply adorable. Can’t believe he’s already one!
too cute!
Aww! My daughter has her own designated kitchen stuff too, and I think she loves it mostly because she thinks she’s doing something naughty getting into that cupboard!
I did his for my children and they loved it, my daughter worked for yur dad in Dallas and she was their house sitter….that plastic must help make them become amazing adults!!!
He is just so yummy I could eat him up!
Too cute!!! 🙂
