I'm in love with my Google Reader

I found a lot of inspiration in my Google Reader this week and I wanted to share the highlights with you. If these blogs aren’t currently in your Reader, add them now. You don’t want to miss anymore of the goodness.

Monday

From Bryn Alexandra Interiors: Tales From House-Hunting

Bryn always has gorgeous home decor images, but I liked to see the things she might be looking for in her home search. These blue floors in the sunroom have officially been added to my wish list in a home– or something I’ll do later if we find the home.

From Small Words Blog: Chalkboard!

I love how Kim took a piece of art from her house and kept the frame, but turned the rest into a chalkboard for family use. It looks wonderful! Be sure to click on the link to see how she and her husband did it.

How cute is this?

From Elizabeth Anne Designs: “Bookcases and Shelves” by Rachel

These shelves of cookbooks are so beautiful and inspiring. The hanging pots (especially the copper pot) make it even better. And let’s not even talk about the gorgeous subway tile.

Fromย Adventures in Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone: “Favorite Nook: Freckles Chick”

I love a gorgeous, organized closet. Even the simplest storage and organization pieces bring this tiny nook to life. The scarf hooks are my favorite part. I need that.

What were your favorite posts in your Google Reader this week? Aren’t bloggers so inspiring? I can’t imagine what I would be doing if I didn’t have so many creative bloggers to look to for daily inspiration.

I love that image of the color-coded bookcases … wouldn’t you just die to have a laundry room that looked like that … or is it just me?

I’m totally going to check out a few of those other blogs you mentioned – don’t know where I have been (under a rock?) there is so much inspiration out there in blog-world!

Thanks again, and have an incredible weekend.

The cook book shelf has been a kitchen dream of mine forever. I love the way that was done! I just hope by the time we get settled and out of school I have collected enough cook books to do that! I also want to have a whole wall that is a book shelf. Granted I love the audio books and the Kindle thing nothing beats good ole paper books.

I really love the books organized by color in Rachel’s post on EAD. I would love to do this, but the husband is adamantly against it. I might do it anyway when I’m home all summer ๐Ÿ™‚
