1. My last post was my 500th post, so this is my 501st post! Who knew I’d have so much to say?
2. My girl crush, Carrie Underwood, is engaged! And have you seen the ring? Holy rock, Batman!
One of the things I loved about Carrie is that even though the media talks about her, she does everything she can to stay out of the tabloids and the spotlight.
I’m sorry. I’m blinded by her bling again.
She’s going to be a beautiful bride. Y’all know I’ll be stalking her wedding picture.
3. We leave for Gatlinburg tomorrow! You should see the packing we’ve done! Todd and I exchanged our gifts to each other last night so we wouldn’t have to bring everything with us. But we still have all of our stocking stuffers for everyone, Hudson’s toys, Hudson’s suitcase, my suitcase, and Todd’s suitcase. We have to bring the stroller and pack ‘n play, too. We’ve borrowed a car-top carrier from a friend and we’ve officially turned into the Griswolds. But whatever works… we gotta get all of our stuff up there!
4. One of my favorite things to do over Christmas holidays is to go see lots of movies. And it’s especially fun to go with my mom. I’m so excited about this year’s lineup that includes “Up in the Air,” “It’s Complicated,” and “NINE.”
Am I forgetting anything? What movies are you going to see?
5. I’ll be able to blog from our cabin! Yay! So you won’t have to go too long without hearing from me. Lucky you!

My mom and I are going to see “It’s Complicated.” I think it looks adorable. I live 30 mins from Gatlinburg. The weather here has been great this week. Have a great time at your cabin! Take lots of pics!
I love to see movies during Christmas. My family always sees something Christmas day, after presents. Last year it was Marley and Me (sob), and this year they are seeing It’s Complicated. I will not be joining since I will be with my in-laws (double sob). I am making Hubs take me to Nine (one of my favorite musicals), since I can’t go with my mama.

SO SO SO SO FUN!!! Gaitlinburg at Christmas is the absolute best — D and I LOVED going to the Dixie Stampede show… fabulous — HAVE SO MUCH FUN!
Oh have so much fun on your trip! Lance and I spent some time in Gatlinburg a few years ago while on a road trip through the mountains and we had a lot of fun! There is a small playhouse in town that had a really funny variety show that we went to.. would be worth checking out if you guys have the time! Otherwise, enjoy Hudson’s first Christmas and spending time with your family in the mountains! :o)
PS- I will be stalking Carrie’s wedding photos too! Which means I’ll probably be stalking your blog for them too since you always find the best pics of Carrie!!

I really want to see Nine and It’s complicated!!! Going to see movies on Christmas is a family tradition of ours because we do our extended family Christmas closer to thanksgiving when my grandparents are in town. That ring is HUGE!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to Carrie, I also cannot wait for the wedding pictures, she will be a stunning bride.

Carrie is engaged to Ottawa Senator NHL player Mike Fisher who plays here in my hometown. He is an amazing guy, very dedicated to the fans and supporting local charities, she is luck to have found such a great guy! Must also mention he is HOT!!!!!

I am TOTALLY going to stalk Carrie Underwood’s wedding pictures too. I just know her wedding is going to be out of control beautiful! Oh and if you look at that picture of her with her ring in the full size, the girl sitting next to her is blinded by her bling too! haha.
Lastly, check out Lovely Bones too, while you are watching all those movies. That book was fantastic and I’m betting the movie will be great too!

After watching Carrie Underwood’s Holiday Special last night, she has become my girl crush too! Even my husband who was pretending not to be interested in the show and playing on the computer in the other room, let out an audible “Wow” when she hit that DIVINE note in “Oh Holy Night.” I was actually checking your blog today hoping you would do a recap of her AMAZING dresses, like you did when she hosted the CMA’s.
