weekly recap

1. I am in the midst of television overload. And. I. Love. It! My DVR is working overtime and every night when Hudson goes to bed I watch at least one show. Then watch the others during his nap the next day. I’m watching the usual– Dancing With The Stars, Grey’s Anatomy, The Biggest Loser. My favorite shows, Lost, American Idol, and Damages don’t start until the Spring. Then there’s the super fun reality shows, Flipping Out, Rachel Zoe Project, and Project Runway.

But I have to say my newest obsession is Glee. I’m amazed every week with how much fun the story lines are and so excited that these people have an excuse to spontaneously bust into song. I’m a musical junkie, so this show is what I’ve been waiting for!

2. We have a lot to look forward to now that Fall has officially arrived. Hudson will be 4 months old next week. My birthday is in November. My mother-in-law is hosting a Sip ‘n See for Hudson and me in November. We’re traveling to Tuscaloosa and Lexington, Virginia this month. Then of course there’s Thanksgiving! Later this month we have our Christmas card photo shoot with Tracey Turpen! I’m so excited to work with her– I just need to some outfit suggestions!

I also couldn’t be more excited about being about to wear a cardigan and not be sweating. Lovely!

3. There is a home game tomorrow, but none of us are very interested in going, so we’re going to have a nice lazy day at home watching football. I’m also meeting a bunch of girl friends for breakfast. We’ve been out of town so long, I just can’t wait to see everyone!

I hope you all have a great weekend! What has you excited this week?

I LOVE Glee!! I think Lea Michele is so talented and I love the OCD guidance couselor (and her outfits)!

I’m going to Lexington, VA for the first time later this month! I can’t wait to see the mountains in the fall.

Sounds very familiar! I don’t watch anything these days unless it’s on my DVR – I don’t even know what nights things come on anymore. I did DVR my first episode of GLEE this week because I’ve been hearing great things about it and I watched it this morning while working out and I loved it!!!! Can’t wait to watch past episodes I’ve missed!

Going to Edisto this weekend and doing NOTHING but playing with my precious nephew (almost three months old), hanging out with my family and meeting one of my little sister’s boyfriend! That’s all I’ve been looking forward to!

Haven’t watched Glee, but my coworker says he’s cracks up the whole time. Addin’ it to the DVR, I suppose! I know my husband will LOVE that! 🙂

I have all the Glee episodes stored on my DVR. Although I have either a baby or wedding shower every Sunday this month, I am going to try to catch up after those. I love Tracey Turpen- she shot a wedding I was in in Beaufort this May, and the pictures were wonderful!

P.S. I also can’t wait for Damages, although I have my hands full with Top Chef, Project Runway, Gossip Girl and Mad Men right now!

Glee is my favorite!!!! My DVR is also on overload. I actually asked my husband what he tought about getting a second DVR for another tv so we could record everything! It’s a little out of control. And I’m so with you on the cardigans, love it!!

I think I’m the only person not in love with Glee. Oh well – I’m not a fan of the musicals made into movies either, guess it’s not my thing. But bring on the 90210 and Melrose. Yes I know the acting is HORRIBLE! ha.

    Woot Woot VA 🙂

I LOVE GLEE! So much! I love when they break out into song, I love the quirky characters! It’s just a really fun show that makes me want to sing and dance through the house after I’ve watched it. I think everyone needs a little Glee in their lives!

Ha, so I just realized that Alabama was audacious enough to schedule South Carolina for Homecoming. So I am sure I will be down there tailgating and hanging at my sorority house. You’ll love it!

How sweet of your mom-in-law to host a sip n’ see. I love those. I’m laughing to myself at the comments asking what it is.

Everytime we have our pics made I agonize on finding the perfect outfit.
