where was CNN on June 5?

Have y’all seen this?

Not to toot (or Tweet) my own horn, but I did this, too. I tweeted all the way through labor and I’m feeling a little bit cheated by CNN.

This mom is apparently a pretty famous mommy blogger in Kansas City, so I’m sure the local news got word of her tweeting through labor adventure and then it got to CNN.
Congratulations to her and her sweet baby!

Here is one of my Tweets on Baby Hudson’s birth from June 4 and June, 2009.

And not to get all mushy and gross on y’all, but just reading all of my Tweets (others not listed here) from June 4 (day of labor) and June 5 (birth day), I’m feeling all emotional. I’m so glad I did that so I can look back and remember exactly what happened that day!

That Bitch! Kidding, kidding, but seriously, how amazing for you to have that feed to look back and remember! And without having to implement a video camera (which I have always said will be 100% off limits in my delivery room!).

Have you heard about the belly belt device that allows your baby to “tweet” from the womb? They featured it on GMA a couple of months ago… here’s a NYT article I dug up!

That is so neat…but I would have felt a little cheated too, if I were you.
I don’t think I even knew what Twitter was when I had my son in March of 08. But I love it now! I bet it was really fun to go back and read all of your tweets from that special time!

BTW, enjoyed “tweeting” with u about Glee last night! I guess my humor is hard to get thru 140 characters! 😉

I can’t believe it’s been almost four months! I loved having a sneak peek into Hudson’s arrival and feeling like part of your virtual cheerleading squad that day. Too bad you didn’t get CNN coverage, but at least you had lots of supporters in the Twitter-verse!

I loved keeping up with how you were doing via your tweets. As a matter of fact, it’s the ONLY reason I joined Twitter in the first place!

That’s awesome that you were able to do that and now look back and remember the day! I don’t tweet often yet, but I might get into it just so I can do this! 🙂

I don’t tweet, but I wish I would’ve documented my daughters arrival better by either having some one write in a journal or something. A lot of it I don’t remember and she’s only 1 1/2! I don’t have a lot of followers so I really don’t know if anybody would’ve been interested in reading about mine anyway:)

I am very glad that you tweeted throughout your labor, that way we knew when Hudson was here! I hope twitter is still ‘the thing to do’ whenever I have a baby! 🙂
