It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with wedding photography; particularly the work of the fabulous Kelly Moore. The only bad thing is that Kelly is located in my home state of Louisiana and I have to fly her out here or go to Louisiana if we want her to take our pictures. Kelly’s good friend is also an incredible photographer and luckily she lives in Wilmington, North Carolina! So now I’m obsessed with Millie Holloman Photography.
Millie’s weddings are fantastic and are frequently featured on Southern Weddings blog, but she also takes beautiful photos of babies, kids, and families. I’ve contacted Millie about taking pictures of Baby Boy Carroll and we’re so excited about this!
The package we’re interested in gets us 5 sessions with Millie starting when Baby Boy is 2 weeks old through the time he has his first birthday. I’m excited already!
yeah…taking your baby to the photo sessions can be really exciting…i also have a 4 month baby and i enjoy evry month i take him to the sessions..it gets fun and more fun day by day…

Aww those baby pictures are adorable, Millie looks like a very talented photographer! Having 5 sessions is such a great idea since little ones change so much between 2 weeks and 1 year!

Those pics are so cute! Have you considered having her take pics at the hospital?? I saw this on a ptog blog I frequent and thought it was such a great idea! I mean, we capture our weddings, but never seem to get those fab pics of baby’s first moments.
We just had the most FANTASTIC maternity/child photographer donate to an auction event. We’re not even expecting and I love to look at her photos! She’s even been in Martha Stewart. You would have to fly her in but at least you can waste quite a bit of time looking at her photos and getting ideas for yours! Here’s her website….

I just let Grits know that the hubby and I are trying to plan an April vacation and are considering the Carolinas, Cabo or Napa. If we were to go to North Carolina, where would you recommend and would you recommend it over the other options? I love and hate planning vacations!!!

There is a good photographer in my area, called Crider’s Photography. I tell you that because it’s only about 2 hours away…a little closer than Wilmington. There is also a good one in Raleigh called Sam Grey (or Gray) can’t remember which. He is often featured in Southern Living (I believe – or Southern Lady).
