It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for keeping up with the wedding trends and I’m so excited to share this wonderful resource with all of you!
Get Married has just launched its second season on Lifetime Television. Get Married is a multi-platform wedding resource with its show on Lifetime Television and its user friendly website, www.getmarried.com. Some of the most sought-after wedding professionals are featured in season two and the host is Colin Cowie himself! The show airs at 7:30 a.m. on weekday mornings.
Some of the other industry experts involved in this project are Darcy Miller (from Martha Stewart Weddings), the fabulous Preston Bailey, and the all knowing Peggy Post (my hero).
So if you’re a bride-to-be, a single gal that has been planning her wedding since she was 5 years old, or a newlywed or not-so-newlywed that is still obsessed with weddings, tune in on weekday mornings and visit Get Married. It’s the most expertly-driven wedding website I’ve seen and I’d known about it when I was planning!
* Some of our favorite Blogger Brides are already involved!
Thanks!
is this the show that Deanna Pappas (The Bachelorette that I did like but now despise) is helping host??
It IS the show DeAnna is on. I used to hate her too after the whole Jesse thing, but come on- get over it. She is actually not bad on this show- totally just there to help people who are luckier than her (actually found the right man) plan their weddings. Colin Cowie who is the main host is amazing and really is the wedding guru.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is DeAnna Pappas thinking? Clearly an innapropriate choice of organizations for her to get involved with. I don’t hate her, but I don’t love her either… I can’t wait for her appearance on the bachelor this season, I think its week after next maybe.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing and keeping us on our toes with new wedding information/resources!
I’m excited to plan my wedding! Oh wait—I have to get engaged first! Luckily my boyfriend is almost done with designing my future engagement ring =)
Thanks! I’m still undecided on what I want to do for my second wedding. I went all traditional for my first one, so i’m looking for something creative this time around.
You should watch it! The original Misadventurer [moi!] happens to have a small place in this season…well, in one episode. 🙂 I have no idea if I actually made the cut…but we’ll see!
Thanks for sharing! I am right in the middle of planning for the big day and I am always looking for great ideas. I just joined the “Blogging World”-if you get a chance stop by and share your wedding ideas-southernwhimsicalgrace.blogspot.comTalk to you soon!
Thanks! I will definately watch this! I will keep this in mind when I plan my wedding, guess I just need to get engaged first! Hopefully I won’t have to wait much longer!! 6 and 1/2 years seems long enough:)
Help! I have a wedding question for you . . . . when attending an engagement party, do you bring a gift? If so, any suggestions???
Thanks! I look forward to watching =)
Thanks for the tips on the new show!
I tagged you on my blog!
I haven’t seen this show yet, thanks for the heads up. The site looks like it’s full of great resources. There are so many great wedding websites out there that have some great tools to use.
