It’s that time of year again! I’m headed to Atlanta tomorrow morning for Market. For years I’ve either met my mom and her best friends at Market in Atlanta or Dallas. It has always been so much fun to tag along with them as they laugh and look at all the latest trends. They stopped meeting up at the Dallas Market a few years ago and have been going strictly to Atlanta for about six years now.
And here’s my gender-neutral color palette. Yellow and green. It would totally work for a boy’s room and it’s so bright and cheery in there! I wouldn’t use flowers for a little boy, but the colors are fantastic together.
I also love yellow, black, and white for a girl and green, black, and white for a boy like this nursery from HGTV’s Rate my Space.
That’s what I’ll be doing this weekend. Browsing and looking for ideas. It would be nice to get these big furniture pieces wholesale if the price is right. I have to say that it’s still a little surreal to be in a position to be making these kinds of decisions. I’m sure I’ll procrastinate on it, but I just want to make sure the room is ready when the baby comes home with us in June.
I love Serena and Lily. I almost went with one of their patterns, but then changed my mind at the last minute. Have you seen thay they now have some adult stuff? I just got the catalog…

I am LOVING these!! I actually love the Maggie! it really is so bright and cheery. i also like the Isabelle…the pop of yellow really makes the room stand out!!! have so so so much fun!! Take pictures!!
How exciting that you get to start looking AND that you’ll know the gender is just a few weeks! Love the green and yellow… you could use the room for a second child, even if they aren’t the same sex. You could always throw in pink accents if it’s a girl, too. Have fun!

I absolute love all of these options but I would have to say my favorite is the Caroline. I so glad to see your name so many times in my Reader. Can’t wait to get caught up. All those rooms are to DIE for! If you are shopping around the market, look for my friend Cottie. She sells “Cottie Cups.” Her display will most likely be pink and green and she is from Raleigh, NC. If you stop in, tell her Amelia sent you!

This is too funny, I have the exact same picture (the last one) I saw a few months back and put it in my baby room idea folders… I found a really cute boy’s room today! This is the hardest room I’ve ever decorated!

i love the green black and white combo…it seems like that could work for a girl, too. my friend is doing a black and white damask pattern with pink accents for her baby girl due in march! i’m not ready for a baby, but the decor is so fun to look at!
