Two days after she and Cody were eliminated, Julianne Hough is leaving Dancing With the Stars to focus on her singing! I just love her and will miss seeing her dance every week. I think, though, that she has become more of a celebrity than her future partners may be. Fans keep Julianne around because they love her and not necessarily because they are voting for her partner. This is, of course, just my opinion.
Maybe she’ll come back to perform on results shows. But I hope she dances.

I was afraid this was going to be the case…she alluded to it on the CMA awards. I’m going to miss her, but you’re right she’s going to be more famous than her partner!
so sad. I think she’s gorgeous and that she and Cody just LOOKED fabulous dancing together. both young(er) and fun personalities. she will be missed.

I wonder if it had anything to do with her cysts. She’s had endometriosis (probably spelled wrong) and has been in quite a bit of pain for weeks. She mentioned it was causing issues with her dancing.
She is such a great dancer and so fun! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where here singing goes….
This makes me sad! I hope she does well singing, but sometimes it seems like it’s hard to cross over like that in show biz…but some people manage to do it, so maybe she can too…
We were pretty heartbroken when we read the news last night. She brings such a spark to the show and we’re really going to miss that. Hopefully she’ll come back from time to time because she truly lights up the screen!

I also love her! She is beautiful and so talented! I will miss seeing her dance for sure! Although I feel like the show isn’t as good anymore and can’t blame her for moving on 🙂
I’ll miss her dancing but she really did do a pretty good job singing the other night. I was pleasantly surprised…Poor Cody…I think he was probably over the moon for her.
I know it is SO sad… but I’m with you I think the “Professionals” are becoming more well-known than the “celebrities.” Well, let’s just keep our fingers crossed Maks is back if Julianne isn’t!
I don’t remember how I happened upon your blog but I noticed this post about Julianne and had to comment.! Julianne is my sister in law and she is wonderful! I was sad to see her get voted off but that means Derek can lead Brooke to the victory right?
