stealing my thunder?

I went home early today because I wasn’t feeling well. Still feeling a little icky and in a funk since returning from Dallas. I was looking forward to curling up in the bed with the fan on high and taking a long nap.

Then I hear it. The sound of Boudreaux about to heave. Dog owners know what this sounds like. It sounds like you’re shaking a gallon of milk around.

I jump up and it’s too late. He lost his cookies. Or the remains of the tennis ball he’d been chewing on for a few hours. Oops.

I let him outside and he seemed to be fine. I went upstairs and went back to bed. Boudreaux never followed Fiona and me upstairs, so I went back down to check on him where I found that he’d done it again.

I was supposed to be the sick one, but my big guy stole my thunder. Good thing I love him so much.

That is the worst! Our dogs did that for almost a week, and the vet had no answers. It is horrible when you’re feeling crummy at the same time.

So sorry – hope you’re both feeling better. My Lucy the pup was sick this weekend and we had to keep cleaning up everything – it was rough.

oh… I’ve been in your shoes. Except the lil dog likes to eat the other’s throw up.

Good thing he didn’t swallow a towel like ours did and you had to have stomach surgery.

Even though its totally gross, throw up is better than surgery anyday of the week.

    hope you start feeling better…

My lab-mix Bailey missed my head by just inches a few weeks ago. She got sick while we were all still in bed…ugh!

LOVE your blog. I just spent some time looking at your wedding photos…stunning. I love the pic of you and the hubs with your doggie too.

AND, I should SO jump on the weight watchers bandwagon with you guys…I still have 12lbs to go to get back to my normal size since having Charlie last year…seriously the kid is 5 weeks from turning 1-I cannot blame him for the extra cushion!

It is not fun to clean up after our dogs when we’re feeling well, I know it was even less fun when you’re feeling crummy too!

ok seriously everyone under the tuscan sun is sick!! including me!! it is no good…we should all form a “sit-in” against sickness. we can eat cookie dough, watch movies, and blow our noses all day!!!

In case no one has told you about these yet and you haven’t seen them, Target had THE cutest little throw pillows in the One Spot that had acorns on them and they were only $2.50 each! They were so soft and adorable! They also had most stuff in the kitchen section that was fall-related and had acorns. Just thought I’d let you know in case you were still needing a replacement for that ridiculously overpriced, yet adorable, bracelet. 🙂

    Hope you’re feeling better!
