it's Weight Watchers Wednesday, ladies!

Yes, an entire week has gone by? How did you do?

Check in with LyndsAU at All Things Fluffy, Fashionable, and Famous to her inspirational post. She has done so well this week and hopefully that will inspire me to get my booty into gear.

I’ve lost 2 pounds since last Wednesday. Not a huge amount, but it’s 20% of my goal, so that’s good! I have been eating Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones every day for lunch. That’s what I eat for lunch when I’m not trying to lose weight, too. I love them! Creamy Rigatoni with Broccoli and Chicken is my favorite.

Exercise is definitely my downfall. I don’t mind exercising, but I need accountability. I need a buddy to go with me. I’m always in such a rush to get home and take care of the dogs that I don’t want to stop off to spend an hour at the gym. I’m going to have to get over it. I have figured out over the years that I can’t just diet OR exercise. I have to do both in order to see results.

I wanted to point out a couple of other bloggers that have posted recipes or about their weight loss journey. Mrs. Guru and The Mrs. both had some great stories and recipes.

Were you successful this week?

Mojito Maven will be posting about Weight Watchers Wednesday next week!

    Hey!

I didn’t know you were on WW’s! I am too and it’s funny that it’s Weight Watchers Wednesday because Wednesday starts my new “week”. Yay! I’d love to get involved with joint posts or whatever for WW’s…

    Have a great Wednesday!

Thanks for the post! Remember if you are beating yourself up over not working out that 80% of weight loss is what you eat.

I did great on exercising this past week. I went five out of seven days. I haven’t noticed any weight loss, but perhaps that’s because I had Greek food and Logan’s Steakhouse in the same day….

oh man I so need to get my rear in gear… someone brought in breakfast tacos and I’m eating one now as I type… I just joined the gym at work so I can work out in the mornings w/o any extra commute. I have to work out in the mornings or I won’t go at all – once quitting time hits at work, I’m done with all physical activity save for a nice walk with the pupster.

Congrats on the two pounds, that’s awesome, and it is a lot! I am the SAME way, especially when I am not a part of a gym anymore, I need someone to say come on lazy let’s go, or someone to be there if in a gym just in case I trip on the treadmill so I don’t look like a dork by myself, ha!

I definitely made progress (thanks to your yummy recipe!) but since I refuse to weigh myself so I don’t exactly know how well I really did. Both my husband + I are trying to watch our portion size and stay as far away as possible from anything sugar related. Makes it difficult since I have an itching to back and our anniversary is on Sunday!

  9. Mrs. Buck says

Yay WW Wednesday – and it’s my weigh in day too – well timed! I’ve got a recipe on my blog from yesterday – WW pesto – it was delicious!

Congrats on two pounds!! I’m the same way about the gym. We have a brand new shiny gym *at* work, so I don’t even have to drive anywhere. I could just go right when I get off, but….I just don’t. 🙁 I need a gym buddy too.

2 lbs is a great loss for a week! Stick with it! I totallly understand about the exercising thing…but with WW, I find it motivating to know that exercise = more food. 🙂

  12. Monogramchick says

Congrats on the 2 lbs! My weigh in day is Monday and I’d only lost 1 lb last week but am not beating myself up since I was not a very good WW girl!

  13. The Lavender Lily says

I completely understand about trying to get home to let your dogs out. I feel the same way, and then once I get home, it’s so hard for me to leave again. My hubster wants to work out in the mornings, but I have so much trouble waking up early…oh the dilemma, ha!
