I’ve been hearing about National Stay at Home Week all night. I’m thinking, “Wow! They’re encouraging us not to go to work. Can I play?”
So I Googled it and found out that it’s just something that ABC declared in order to get people to watch all of their premiere shows while saying that it’s done to encourage people to cut back on using gasoline. They’re not fooling me!
I will, however, be at home every night this week except for Tuesday because I have an event. I’m disappointed that we have to wait another four months or so to see the premiere of Lost, but I’m looking forward to another silly season of Dancing With the Stars and the forever frustrating, Grey’s Anatomy.
I was seriously hoping that they would encourage us to save gas and not go to work, but whatever.
save gas, that would be great! i did see gas down to $3.99 this morning – what a steal, how sad to say that!!!

So you also follow the walking tragedy that is “Grey’s Anatomy”? I love it despite myself and maintain that it was a witty, wonderfully written show for the first two seasons. The last two seasons, though . . . ugh. So long as they don’t keep messing with the Meredith-Derek situation, I will indeed “Stay At Home” to watch!

I’ll be honest, National Stay at Home Week is a bit gimmicky, but I am excited to start staying in at night! During the winter, my husband and I spend a lot more time at home than we do during the summer.

We’re thrilled to have the new season start! Tonight should be exciting with Dancing with the Stars and while I’m looking forward to Grey’s, I’m also a bit nervous. The first two seasons were fantastic but the past two, not so great. It seemed they were getting their act back together at the end of the season so our fingers are crossed. Another one we’re really looking forward to is Brothers and Sisters – I love that show!
I thought the same thing when I heard it 'stay at home week'? Hey – I'm all for it – I'll be in front of my TV for Dancing with the Stars, Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy – they dont have to full me with a joke like!!!
I'm also bummed about LOST not starting yet, but am looking forward to Grey's Anatomy and The Office! I heart Jim & Pam!
