sorry, readers

I’m so sorry, my dear readers. I don’t even know how many of you there are out there. I was watching 90210 earlier and had to post about Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez and Erin Silver. It’s so weird that those characters were created more than 15 years ago and I’m so glad that the writers brought in something to bring it back to the old 90210 for the older viewers.

Overall, I think the show was okay. It reminds me some of The O.C. and I liked that show in its first season. Having Kelly and Brenda on the show will help me get into it. There’s also the hope that the father of Kelly’s son is Dylan. The girl that plays the “queen bee” type character really reminds me of Regina George (Rachel McAdams) in Mean Girls.

I think the show will be very entertaining. I’ll no doubt be watching it upstairs so Todd doesn’t have to watch it. What did everyone else think? HaselBride and Belle, I’m sorry y’all missed it!

I tuned in and was able to catch the last half thanks to your post!

I didn’t love it. I’ll keep watching, but I feel like Gossip Girl is filling the O.C. void for me in tv right now and it might just become the same thing different coast, you know?

Can I just say how glad I am that new tv is back?! It has been a long summer with nothing to watch especially after the writers’ strike of last season.

Eh. I didn’t like it that much. That exchange between Erin Silver and Kelly Taylor about “Can I quit being your guidance counselor for a sec and be your sister” was a bit ridiculous. I was hoping to love it but all the kids look so damn old! I can’t tell the difference between the kids and the adults!

And perhaps I can’t get over Kyle McBride from Melrose and Aunt Becky from Full House hooking up.

I agree that it was just ok. Although I don't love it like my newest obsession of Gossip Girl, I did enjoy the bits from the past they weaved it. Seeing Silver and Hannah were unexpected surprises and I enjoyed seeing Kelly & Brenda again. I also really enjoyed the actress who is playing Annie and you can't go wrong when Rob Estes face is filling your screen. I'll give it a few more episodes but right now I'm now sure if I'll last the entire season.

Now if Luke Perry was coming back, I'd be ALL over it!!

I haven’t made my decision yet about the show. Maybe it will grow on us. Any who, love the blog and left you some love over at my blog.

I thought it was just so-so. Am still thinking it over & will probably write about it myself. I'm watching at this point just to see more of Brenda & Kelly . . . probably won't care if/once they are off the show.

I wasn’t really feeling it so much last night…
It’s already SO predictable… I will probably give it a few more episodes- if it hasn’t hooked me by then I’ll ditch it. Maybe it’s just because nothing can compare with the good old original 90210. Seeing Brenda and Kelly together was kinda cool though!

Did anyone else notice how anorexically skinny all these teen girls are on the show? Esp. Silver.

ok so let me rationalize about why I think it’s brandon 🙂 let me know what you think…when she was having dinner with Brenda and they were talking about Brandon and Kelly said something like, “Yeah that’s what he said when he called me at 3 am.” Then I started thinking hold cow when she was on the phone earlier in the show late at night and she said “He’s been asking about you.” then the little boy comes in it made me (and my hubby) go WOAH! But could totally be misinterpreting 🙂 I guess time will tell! I am so excited that other people on here are watching so we can all discuss 🙂

AGREED that I didn’t LOVE it either. I felt like the producers created several story lines but didn’t follow through (like Rob Estes’s son???? What ever happend with that?)…or Annie Mills sneaking out to go to a party, but yet it was never discussed again??

And I agree that it was very predictable. It was very similar to the OC to me.

But I digress, I love 90210 so I’ll have to continue watching.

I don’t know what I think yet….it is definitely not up to par with the original….and the characters are not necessarily all that likeable. I will continue to watch because of Kelly and Brenda. Hopefully it gets better in the next few weeks. I mean Jackie is appearing in next weeks episode!!

I DVR’ed it – gotta watch it this weekend – anxious though! I’m a 80’s girl so was TOTALLY into the original!
