So a lot of times I blog for me and other times I blog for you and me. When I’m blogging for you and me I’m craving the community and so appreciate the community.
Today’s post is a post for me. Because while I know that not everyone wants to see pictures of our memories, I absolutely love being able to go back every year and see things we did. But maybe you like seeing pictures of my boys, too?
On Friday night, we went to the Junior League of Columbia’s Holiday Market PJs with Santa event. I was actually the vice chair for this event this year, and it’s one of my favorite things to do with the boys every year.
The kids get to meet Santa, watch a movie, listen to Christmas books, decorate cookies, do a craft, and run all over the Holiday Market.
The boys love it, and now that they’re officially no longer afraid of Jolly Old St. Nick, it’s a lot more fun!
We dressed them in their finest Christmas pajamas and took them to meet Santa.
Hudson and Hayes are wearing these pajamas.
And it went really well. I still can’t believe it.
I am a really big fan of the Santa photos with the screaming kiddo. I can’t help it. (We’ve had our share of Easter Bunny and Santa photos with a screaming Hudson.) I also laugh when people slip and fall… which is okay because I’m always the one who slips and falls and I expect that people will laugh at me.
When Santa (who is the very best Santa ever) asked the boys what they wanted, Hudson froze and couldn’t answer him. And Hayes said, “Toys.” Of course.
Today, my friends Jenny, Ashley, and Darci are hosting a PJ Party link up and I’m linking up with them!

Erin, I always enjoy seeing pictures of your adorable boys. 🙂 This looks like a sweet Santa. So glad your boys had a fun evening.
Such handsome boys! I’m so glad seeing Santa is so much fun for them!
So cute! I linked up for that one too!
What a fun event! Your boys are way too cute in their jammies. BTW, I love it when you post about them!
I thought I was the only who really enjoys a screaming child picture with Santa and the Easter bunny. The boys look super cute with their pajamas and big smiles.
Goodness graciousw they are CUTE! Love it!
I didn’t even recognize Hayes in this picture. He’s getting so big. Funny story-I actually came across one of those buzz feed 15 hilarious pictures with the easter bunny or santa or something and one of them was Hudson! (Now that I write that, I realize that is probably not funny to his actual mother and they probably didnt’ have your permission to use it.)
I think that event looks like so much fun! The santa is perfect-real beard, not creepy…and how fun to wear your jammies and have all of that fun! I wish we had something like that. In fact, your pictures almost inspired me to take my kids to see santa in their jammies. But, I thought it might look weird at the mall, so we did shrimp and grits outfits instead.
Last year, someone invited us to breakfast with santa at the country club. They had a great set up wtih carolers and crafts, but the Santa had a fake beard. I remember realizing that Santa’s beard was fake when I was little and it took just a bit of the magic away, so I am dilligent about a real beard. Of course, Monroe keeps asking when we’re going to see the real santa at his workshop and do crafts. I don’t have the heart to tell him we’re not members of the club, so it probably won’t happen again!
